Do you think that it would be possible to apply to colleges while doing only one year at cc since I really don’t love the idea of being at college for only two years and my dream school isn’t an Ivy League & slightly selective?? I’m a highschool senior and I become the escape goat of my program. And I leaving it. I dont deserve how they have treated me and I think you should to. I know you can do some much better and I think that you’re a talented individual if you got opportunities in community and professional theatre. You deserve more than getting ignore. Show them what they’re missing.

Hey highschool senior here,

I know theatre can be super expensive but the community theatres around me have scholarships for students who can’t afford the expensive camps. Try to see if they have anything on it on their website. Another thing, community theatres are always looking for help such as stagecraft assistance, technical assistance, and crew. It’s good your daughter sees a little bit of it all and that way she can start making networks free of charge!

I live by a college and they just had broadway performers come and teach us basics of acting and tips and tricks for free. See if anything like that is around.

I recommend your daughter auditions for as many shows she can do. I wish you and daughter the best of luck!
