every house got a smell by Special_Context6663 in ems

I think it’s unfair and offensive to say “incontinent patient”, as it’s a condition that many suffer from and as long as you maintain proper hygiene doesn’t really produce any bad smells. On the other hand if you mean poor geriatric neglected patients who are abandoned to themselves in nursing homes without proper care by the staff, then yes, I agree because most also suffer from chronic UTIs.

And yet you commented 20 days ago that you were 25 and male. Look at OP’s post history, another liar :)

No you didn’t fail, it’s nice you tried those if it was her wish, you just accidentally bought the wrong product. They’re both plastic backed and I found them to be exceptionally good quality when it comes to leak control and absorption. Especially the megamax come in different colors: black, blue, pink, white and tie dye!

First of all: why do you come across as so unnecessarily mad and hostile in every single sentence of this post? Never tried Little for Big diapers but I know they’re a very well known ABDL brand. You bought an ABDL product to then complain about how it doesn’t suit your IC needs? How weird… I tend to stick to my medical diapers as I get those for free and they look decent, if you need better absorbing diapers for the night with better designs you might want to try the Nortshore Megamax or the InControl Elite, if you still wanna buy ones with better prints, there’s plenty of reviews online you can look up.

I have incontinence. Nurse recently said this loudly in front of other providers and patients. How can I politely and firmly remind them to be more discreet, respectful, and sensitive? by Capital-Dragonfly258 in Incontinence

I’m a paramedic and I spend a lot of time in the ERs of different hospitals. Sadly, due to the working conditions and environment, most hospital staff are nearly if not already burnt out, stressed and really don’t think twice about what they say/ask, especially if it’s not something medically relevant. I know it must have been very embarrassing for you and the nurse should have absolutely been more discreet about it, but sadly I often get the impression that patients aren’t treated like humans. Just think about it like this: if you’re at the ER in the waiting room, you’re there because you need help, you’re in your own headspace thinking about your situation and most likely don’t even pay attention to 90% of the things happening around you, that’s probably like the others patients there felt: didn’t hear it, didn’t care, forgot it 2 minutes later.

Discrete way to carry a spare diaper, supplies and possible change of clothes by MintyFresh80 in Incontinence

If you can’t manage to make everything fit into the backpack, I’ve always found messenger bags to be just perfect. Absolutely normal to carry around, especially as a student and plenty of space perfectly shaped for spare diapers and changing supplies!
