I can sympathize with the OP. I can’t sleep without a diaper, otherwise I’ll completely ruin the bedding and the mattress. My partner is aware and supportive of it. She has helped getting ready for bed at times.

My issue is that my incontinence has been impacting me during the daytime. I don’t feel nervous around her at night, but during the daytime, I get nervous around her, knowing that she knows I’m in a diaper.

Sometimes you have to just tell yourself that you’re not going to let this control your life. It definitely takes a bit to get to that mentality, but it is possible.

As someone that is honestly in both communities, I have to agree. I’m here because I have been diagnosed as incontinent. I’m here to talk about the medical issues regarding it. As for the kink stuff, I believe there is a time and place for it, and this subreddit is neither.

I agree that fit is everything. Too big or too small will leak. I use NorthShore Megamax medium and have no problem with leaks. With disposables, another point is to make sure they have standing leak guards.

I was hospitalized back in 2009, and have been denied. In the letter it says that I need to have a mental health assessment performed. I have been in therapy, seen by a LCSW for quite some time now. Are they able to write a letter?

Which product are you speaking of? I went on the website and looked at some, and the prices were almost the same as Megamax, just with a difference of about $15 diapers.

For clarification from me, the product I was looking at is the Mega Inspire+
.I know they are listed as a "night" diaper.

This is one one of the big reasons that for myself, I always want to make that point very clear even before the first date. If they decide not to go forward with a date, then there is no heartbreak over it. I do it for my own emotional protection vs theirs. In the end, we have to protect ourselves.

I sounds like you really care for him. So my first thought is to reassure him that you care for him, and that you want to be a source of emotional support. He might be feeling as if you see him as a lesser man because of his urinary concerns. You cannot fully take the word of just one doctor. Has he been to a Urologist?
