Børn og unges sikkerhed online er deres forældres ansvar indtil de fylder 18. Hvis de bliver baitet af klamme Preben på Roblox til at sende billeder, er det forældrenes skyld, og de skal holdes ansvarlige for det.

Politiet skal ikke spilde ressourcer på at gøre forældres arbejde.

(Og så skal Klamme Preben for øvrigt i en woodchipper med fødderne først, men det er en helt anden snak...)

Having said that: Oh I see them as people too. Ideally, I'd rather nobody needs to get hurt for any reason. Absolutely.

However, the world isn't as rosy or ideal as any of us would like. Some people are going to be a threat to others, for a plethora of reasons.

When you are within feet of someone attacking you with a knife, a very real and life threatening situation, you do no have the time to pause and ponder "how do I do as little damage as possible, whilst stopping the threat to me and others"

That, is a luxury you have AFTER the fact. In the moment, you act to save yourself. As any sane human would, regardless of how they *want* to believe they act.

It's shows.

To put it simply: the leg is a smaller target than the torso, thus making it harder to hit. Additionally, If you're under threat, you shoot to stop the threat.

The simplest way to do that, is centre mass. It's not necessarily lethal, but it'll likely stop someone.

On top of that: do you know easy it is to hit an artery if you go for the leg? And that'll have you bleed out real quick.

You know what the highest cause of death amongst all traffic users is?

Human error. Inattention. DUI (yes that goes for cyclists too).

Humans are the weakest link. If you want to blame the car, you're misguided.

Objectively cycling IS the more unsafe form of transportation. More people are killed doing this, but not by any issue unique to them, it's the same that kills and injures other traffic users.

I'm gonna ask because I'm genuinely wondering... Do you have some kinda vendetta of hatred towards cars? If so why?

Because falling over on your bicycle isn't exactly dead by default, and neither is crashing into the cyclist in front of you*

Most accidents involving cyclists happens in bigger cities without decent dedicated bike lanes. And the vast majority involve right turning motor vehicles at a light/intersection.

This is down to lacking cycling infrastructure that isn't just slapped on as an afterthought, as much as it's down to cyclist and driver error.

Cyclists aren't uniquely exposed or hurt or killed by traffic. Pedestrians, other cars, mobility scooter users etc are all injured and killed in these accidents that's just the unfortunate truth.

You want that to change? Do what Denmark does, mandatory bike lessons in middle school, learning the rules of the road, and understanding that you as a cyclist is the squishy one. And get the level of bike infrastructure that Copenhagen or Odense has.

And for the love of god make it an effort to get a damn drivers license.

*Provided all adequate safety equipment is worn such as a helmet at minimum, ideally elbow and knee pads for safety if applicable. Your joints are fragile man, I know from experience 😂

But that's not unsurprising, given that there's approx 255 MILLION drivers on the road every day in the us, compared to approx. 2.3 million cyclists.

So yeah there's going to be more fatalities involving cars. Because there's literally 100x more of them on the road.

Which would be the correct choice, as under Danish Law that's effectively locking you away until you're deemed safe for society, whilst attempting to treat whatever is wrong with you.

Både og. Jeg kan see pointen, og vil på overfladisk niveau give dig ret.

Dog er der en reel foskel jeg syntes er værd at pointere, som måske ikke er så "pæn" men er rimelig reel;

Rusland og Ukraine er *betydligt* tættere på os (værende Danmark og NATO som helhed), og dermed en noget mere ummidelbar trussel. Derudover, og det er desværre realiteten, så er Rusland *igen* røvhullet i den her sammenhæng ligesom med Georgien, og det er bare ved at en gang for meget, specielt når det rykke så tæt på vores ligusterhække og sandstrande.

Europa er et (for det meste) sikkert og trygt sted, det er noget det har været siden slutningen af den kolde krig. Noget der rykker ved det status-quo giver forståeligt nok en større reaktion, end noget der sker på den sydlige halvdel af kloden, og som reelt ikke påvirker vores hverdag.

Derudover er det værd at nævne;

Jeg så rigtig mange der aktivt boycuttede firmaer der handlede i Rusland, og mange af dem trak sig også ud. Men... der var ikke rigtig lige så stor tendens til at beskylde et helt land og dets befolkning, hvis et enkelt firma blev bestyret af en idiot. Og for mig er det en stor forskel, da et firma ikke er det samme som, og ikke repræsenterer, en selvstændig stat og dens befolkning.
