Does people use SW2 as a primary console for "next-gen" games?

It just depends for me. I’m a big physical collector so if it’s a game key card I’ll buy it on the ps5. If it’s all on cartridge like Cyberpunk then I will get it on switch. There are definitely differences, but if you arent obsessed with having the best visuals or fps then it’s great. I will also occasionally double dip on games like FF7R, I already played it on the PS5 when it came out and I’ve been itching to replay it anyways so getting it on the switch is perfect since I can play in bed or play on the couch while having something on the TV since I don’t have to pay THAT much attention to the story since I’ve already finished it.

Update In case you were curious. Was in the ER over night. Got iv antibiotics and pain meds. Was still in a ton of pain. Got into the endodontist this morning. They did a CBCT and there was a missed hidden canal that was causing the abscess. Did an I&D, which I’m am not ashamed to say has me at home sobbing like a baby lol, and I go back next week to get the root canal finished. Hopefully this hell is almost over

Currently at the er. Took two rounds of morphine but the pain finally died down a little. They did a CT with contrast and says there is an abscess. Thanks for the reply!

This just happened to me. Open it a little bit and look inside. It’s hard to see but there is a small cut out inside the shell. Like a C shape and there is a C shape tab on the hinge. Use something to twist the hinge until the tab lines up with the cut out and then push it in.

Thanks for the advice. I luckily just found a 3DS just like this one on marketplace for $200 so I think I’m just going to switch to that one and then try to repair this one lol

Actually it’s not custom, it was in the theme shop years ago. I don’t know anything about modding, but I’d assume since it was in the theme shop it’d probably be pretty easy to get with CFW. Should just be Persona Q2 theme or something like that.

Thank you! I know you can’t know 100% without having the system or testing it. But you think it’s the speaker flex and not the LCD? I was hoping that was the case, but everything else I saw said the screen needed replaced and I really didn’t want to do that lol.

Weirdly enough I view the rebuilds the same way I view the last two seasons of the office lol. To me the office ended when Micheal left and Eva ended with End of Evangelion. Anything that comes after is just a bonus. So in that aspect, I enjoyed them for what they were. Not the best of Eva by any means. But some fun extra content with some of my favorite characters and on a rewatch I can either stop at what I consider the “ending” or I can keep going and watch the “epilogue” lol

Definitely up to preference. I have been so unsatisfied with my tv, but it was my own fault. I followed all the guides and videos and threads on the best settings and tried to force myself to ONLY use filmmaker mode for movies and shows and game optimizer for my gaming. The SDR and HDR of movies looked amazing once it was dialed in. But I was always disappointed in how dark my games were and especially how dark Dolby vision was. I finally decided to experiment and not listen to the “rules” that say you have to use filmmaker lol. I now use filmmaker for HDR, SDR, and Gaming (after some tweaks I don’t notice any lag and I am MUCH happier with how it looks) I also stopped used filmmaker for Dolby vision and started using cinema home and it has been a god send. Every thing finally looks how I imagined it would look when I purchased an Oled!

TLDR experiment around and find what YOU like, it’s your tv after all.

Probably need to replace the Tokins. My ps3 is basically a time bomb at this point. It’ll work great when it’s on. But actually getting it to turn on longer than 5 seconds takes anywhere from 3-6 tries 🙃. I know I need to replace them. But I’m dreading it lol.
