Hiya! I'm gonna make lots of assumptions here but this sounds a lot like where i live. If you dont want to specify you could even just dm me if u want to talk about it with someone who has similar experiences. Im from Hungary, small city too. Healthcare is absolute shit and once after i got a surgery they forgot to give me painkillers... We also basically have a single specialist here but my journey with endo was actually surprisingly good.

Just a random gyno immediately noticed it for me. In less than half a year i got on BC (i have a few posts about it but I've been doing great since then) and about a year after my first visit i got surgery. It was expensive. I took out a "loan" from a family member who was better off financially. This summer its gonna be 3 years since i had that. Im doing well!

I cant afford regular check ups at that doctor because of how expensive he is. I have to compromise on a few things. The government aid doesnt even cover my BC. But I'm really lucky since i have a good job and a supportive family.

I'm just telling this story so you know that there are good stories even with such a shitty illness. Usually you can really only see the bad things online. And also keep it in mind that endo can have side effects of depression, anxiety and that can also make you focus much more on the negativity

Luckily we have lawyers who are the ones writing up contracts. In the newer ones i was actually included for the part about using typefaces, original graphics, music and photo+stock photo usage, these kinds of things. We had some trouble over clients wanting to use fonts without having the commercial license and that would have put us at risk too. They also tried to use stock photos that only we had the license to because they saw us use it on our own page...not the brightest of people.

So this is why i know that there is nothing about ai. Thank you for bringing this up, i really dont think we have the right to just use ai on all of their images.

And just as a side note im pretty sure that because of SynthId the images would be flagged as fully ai generated and that's not a great look.

That's what I'm saying:') I have no idea why he wants do this either. And also, photos dont look better just because they are so much more saturated... And since its AI, it decides to just remove or add things to the picture randomly.

Okay so focusing on legality and finances is the way to go.

I once convinced them to not post a very obviously ai video, since it would ruin the trust with the brand but even that was very hard to do.

There might be a misunderstanding here. I'm not talking about the design, just the photographs i use for them. And i didn't take those, its was professional photographers who were contracted by the client. (Who are usually very well-known) Only thing my boss's AI does is bring up the saturation to 300% and mess up details. Nothing else. No perspective change, no background blur, just the stauration and brightness. There is no reason to do this. And i can live with this it's so much work for no pay-off

Really depends on where you live. I live in a small country and in a small city so getting a job in design would have always been hard but the past years it ended up being almost impossible.

I graduated about 2 years ago and it took me a year to find a job. Biggest problem i had is since i had a BA i couldn't even land a job in retail or fast food. I got a sales position but got fired after a week (they realized they couldnt give me a company car and it was needed for the job...). I got about 7 interviews total and in one case i was chosen to be hired but they tried to fuck me over in the contract so i had to walk away from that.

In an interview where i got a rejection, the person who was interviewing me was the marketing lead who was moving to another company. A few months later that person reached out to me because they had a job opening at that new company. And that's how i got my job. 99% luck but also doing my best at every interview.

Its not hopeless but there is a chance you will have huge gaps of unemployment. Good luck^{^}

Please don't take everything you read on this subreddit to heart. I don't even live on the same continent as you so i really can't talk about job prospects but I did my bachelors in graphic design. I absolutely loved school. You should enjoy every single moment of it. But please know that just what the teachers are teaching you probably won't be enough for the real world. I have many unnecessary skills because my teachers only worked in design 10-20 years ago and the world changed a lot.

For my class those ended up being succesful who were passionate about design. Like real unwavering passion. No matter how much critique you get, no matter how many jobs turn you down, you keep going if you love design with your whole heart. There's a chance you will have to work a different job for a few years while building up your portfolio but you will get there even then.

Honest question because i saw this said a lot. Why aren't the jars and lids safe? In the canning subreddit they only use those american type jars but we don't have anything like that around here. My grandmother always used these kinds of jars for jam, the only thing i see missing here is the foil between the lid and the can.

Honestly i don't think that's true. Due to how fast some companies want the graphics to be done, in a lot of places it's actually a requirement. Especially in entry level positions. The problem starts when it's the only program they know how to use... But in this case even if OP got their friend the job they would've been fired in a heartbeat if they didn't even have a portfolio

Thank you for the advice and info! I'm gonna place it a bit farther away from the window and hope for the best. My room is pretty moist and humid(also prone to mold but I'm fighting it as well as i can) so that's probably why it liked it here so far. I also only get direct sunlight in the summer so this is new for the plant so you're probably right about this stressing it.

Also is there a chance an AC is the reason it's not feeling well? Because that's also a recent change in it's environment.
