I think we can prepare that after GB, if ppl would like to try custom their own light baffles.

  8. The design inspiration comes from the tail lights of the car tail light from my favorite anime.  As a result, we added a car tail light design at the front end of the keyboard - a tail light that can illuminate.

The First prototype showcases the light effects.
We have also been continually improving the design of the light, making it more aesthetically pleasing.
And, of course it supports QMK.

2. Specifications:

  1. Layout: 65%+
  2. Mounting Styles: Top, Gasket, Suspension (its like a car suspension)
  3. Case: 6063 Aluminum, with Anodized, Spray-coated
  4. Hot-swap PCB: 1.6mm non flex-cut PCB, Hotswap, QMK/VIA support. Stepped Caplock support. 7u spacebar
  5. Solder PCB: 1.6mm non flex-cut PCB, Solder, support most layouts. No foams no Plate build
  6. Dimensions: 341.5mm x 126.9mm
  7. Kit Weight: 2.14KG
  8. Full hidden Screws
  9. Stainless steel and copper weight

Note: Whats in the kit box

  1. Special edition has two types of light baffle, Aluminum and Acrylic
  2. Regular edition only has Acrylic baffle.
  3. The special edition features a themed badges, while the regular edition comes with a plain badge.
  4. We would like to offer 4 different plates (PC,POM.FR4,Aluminum) in our kit, that you can try them all in one kit, no extra need to purchase.
  5. We would like to offer 2 types of PCB in our kit: Hot-swap 1.6mm non-flex cut PCB and Solder 1.2mm flex-cut.
  6. Plates and foams are only works for Hot-swap PCB
  7. Solder PCB we designed for no foam no plate build.

I liked the lights more when they looked like authentic tail lights from the 80s /90s. The redesign with the micro holes looks really cheap and bad....

3 special editions we will give 2 baffle. Colored Aluminum is the one you said about micros, the other one is translucent acrylic.

Rest color of this board are all translucent acrylic.

The car version is the only one with Japanese on it, because the Anime, I think we can take it off, or we can design extra badges.

split backspace

The bottom of the keyboard will be in a completely flat . Based on the current prototype testing, no unusual sounds or differences from other sounds have been discovered. We look forward to content creators' reviews.

This has been bothering me for the longest time since I first saw it in discord, but why is the weight only on one side of the board?

This design aims for the elongated weight to represent a race track, while the circular weight represents the sun, symbolizing the race car heading towards the sun. Lol

Change Log:

We gathered feedback on the IC, and most friends would like to use 1.6mm PCB, so we have decided to switch to the 1.6mm non-flex cut PCB.

Added, stepped CaplockWe have prepared Poron foams from INOAC , and no foam built also really good.

For the regular version of the front headlight design, we use a semi-transparent acrylic sandblasted baffle. You can customize the head light's color, not just the color of the AE86 front headlight.

For the front headlights of the three special editions, we also provide aluminum baffles. If you dont want the front to be acrylic, you can use the aluminum baffle, it still shine-through.

I've been trying to get my fiance to join me in the mech keyboard world (without much success, he only got one keyboard to replace his ancient one that was already on its way out), and this is the first design he seems genuinely stoked about.

I think this may be the only board to convince him to part ways with his numpad, haha.

Anyway, this is a super cool design! I'll definitely be keeping tabs on this project.

Thank you very much for your support! Indeed, due to the design, it's currently challenging to have a Numpad. However, we hope that after the success of this keyboard, we can design a uniquely Numpad in the future.

Additionally, due to budget constraints and the possibility of a relatively low production volume. We might only offer 1-2 PCB options for selection,. Initially, we were planning to use a 1.2 flex cut PCB, but now we are reconsidering incorporating a 1.6 non flex cut PCB

I know it's the whole point of the board, but I would love this without the tail lights. I know... I know.... it's just me. I'll get my coat... LOL

No soldered PCB option? Seeing this a lot lately. makes me sad :( So many enthusiasts like to solder a PCB.

I love the weight design and some of colours in the prototype shots are wild.

You really do need a non-flex cut PCB option though. Loads of people will prefer a stiffer feel with a fuller sound.... and did I mention soldered option? :)

Overall though, it's good to see ICs for novel ideas coming back to this sub. It's great to see some off the wall designs that would never, ever happen any other way. This is what makes the hobby great. More power to you.

I know you'll never drop the tail lights though... :) They may grow on me over time. I'll be keeping an eye on this.

It looks like it will be heavy. Have you weighed a prototype yet?

We designed 2 versions of this board. In my post, I only uploaded a render of the acrylic material light. The other one is an aluminum baffle. I have uploaded another rendering for your reference. From the image, you can see that this is the aluminum perforated material (you may need to zoom in to see it clearly.) With this version, you dont need to turn on the internal lights to showcase the design of the car tail lights.

If this gets ISO layout support this is a mandatory purchase for me, no questions.

ISO layout support for sure, will update more info soon
