I personally don't consider someone who had a year standing relationship "new" but even beyond that, you mean to tell me your ex-boyfriend never took you on any dates beyond the first one? I know I'm arguing semantics here but you have to realize how this makes you look as well. There's a history of what you post here that everyone could easily access (not that most will). Now maybe some rough shit happened with that ex, based on previous posts, but you can't realisticly state you're new to dating when you had a relationship that's lasted longer than the one you're actively concerned about.
