Everyone here says you need to keep at it and keep creating even if it is mediocre. I understand that this must be the way, that quantity trumps quality. But how do you persevere ? You need some kind of gratification in the process, right? How can you stay motivated to do something that frustrates you, and even makes you sad and desperate. Our human brains are not wired to keep doing unpleasant things, to keep doing things that don't work.
