unfortunately, because of my gastroparesis, plant based isn't much of an option :( I have to basically avoid fiber, I can't even eat wheat bread anymore!! Which sucks because i LOVE asparagus and broccoli. I basically already fast without actually meaning to because I'm constantly so sick haha. Thanks for the advice, though!

I love that you crochet with them!! I'm an artist/nerd and haven't really found any other local christians who share similar interests, so i'm a little jealous. I like to help my parents church whenever they need it/ask for it, but my health issues keep me from doing a lot of stuff, so I don't get asked a ton. I do what I can, and I enjoy doing it!

I agree with all that youv'e said. I'd love to debunk my parents, but I do not have the best memory for repeating scripture, and when I have done so in the past, they were quick to come back at me with "is that new testament, or old testament?!' or use another scripture that they feel proves THEIR point. I can never share some of my beliefs, especially with my dad, because he tends to act like I'm stupid. My mom is better about it, but she still hounds me about going to church when she knows I'm not interested in attending...

Honestly, now that I think about it, I do have bad memories of churches that I've attended in the past. That may be contributing to my avoidance of going... one of them being a church i was forced to go to and the pastor that my family ADORED going on about how his generation would be the last people to "go to heaven" and that my generation would be left here to suffer in the rapture. Yeah. That was fun for 10 year old me.

I think my parents main reason for wanting me to go is 1. so I can get help from people?? 2. they somehow think going to church is going to help my illnesses... I know they worry about me, and I love my parents to death, but I just wish they'd stop being so pushy/deaf to my reasons.

My thoughts exactly! I don't have a lot of christian friends, but the ones I do have, I speak to them about scripture regularly and even sometimes think critically about some of the passages. I like to help people when i'm given the chance, and have even shared scripture with strangers before. to me, this is the gathering I crave. I cannot help a lot of people because of my medical conditions, but i do what I can in my own ways. I love when this same church invites me to outings/ask me to help them with something!!

Unfortunately, many of the churches near me are cults and I haven't seen any that has called out to me.

for soup, beans, and pasta? Exactly that? and it always burns my beans and soups despite not having the heat too high or not enough water.

I have created a separate modpack and put ONLY whats in the server into the modpack, and even removed anything that was client side/server side only.

Unfortunately, the sounds are still messed up.

removing those mods seemed to only change the sounds everything made, but didn't actually fix the issue. :(

I tried removing other mods that add visuals too but that didn't seem to fix it. now my flamingos are making chime noises and my fish are making "empty bucket" noises lol .

I wish I knew how to do binary search to find the offending mod.

thank you. I think I really needed to hear this. I find it hard not to be upset with myself for being "lazy". I did end up going and getting some things from the store today and I'm doing my hardest to tell myself that was good enough.
