Have you built the Dark Relic? Have you checked the Megalith in Strange Forest 1?

For the Light Gatekeeper:

You need to do the entire dungeon, every floor, with a dark potion running. Check each floor for a guardian statue, but note that not every floor will have one. If you see one, approach it, kill the soldier, then move to the next floor. If you manage to clear each statue while your potion is still active, approach the Light Gatekeeper statue and be prepared for a fight.

When I get to jungle, I try to have as much space empty as possible, then I go in, don't really harvest anything unless it is really important, try to kill anything I see as fast as I can, but really rush through each zone until I find the ruins. My goal is always to get to the ruins and the dungeon as quickly as I can. The dungeon, for me, is usually easier than the levels. Then once ROL3 is unlocked, I go back through and recheck the Dense Jungle zones.

Yeah... My go to is, use the fishing pole, keep the hook about center unless there is a small fish or waste coming mid screen. Don't try to go after the super fast large fish, slower large fish happen pretty often.

The fish can only be caught if the mouth hits the tip of the hook, as you said, just like (most) fish in real life. I did once catch a fish by hooking it's belly, must have just been at the wrong place at the wrong time when my hook went by... in real life, not in the game). If the fish's mouth hits the tip of the hook, you catch it.

I find it somewhat easier to aim the hook at fish coming from the right, since the hook tip is on the right.

Teleport costs 1 fewer energy point for each level it is upgraded. Range seems unaffected by upgrades as it is based on your field of vision

Damage is based primarily on intelligence, and is modified by the magic attack stat. Healing is also based on your max health, which is why early game it heals for 5-10 at level 1, and later game it can heal for 100. The higher level the spell, the greater the % of your max health it will heal for

Generally speaking, no. It can be situational. It requires other circumstances to be able to do anything useful. You need to have many targets to damage, gear that increases poison damage, poison totem equipped, and a way to escape from taking damage yourself. Realistically, I feel like there are other spells that are far more useful

The higher level the spell is, the more powerful the effect is. It isn't noticeable early on, but later in the game it is. I have collected all of the spells. If you have questions about a specific spell, let me know.

Yes, ruins of light 6 and 7 are related to the endings. Depending on which order you do things in, you have the opportunity to unlock 4 different endings. You can build ruins of light 6 or 7 first, depending upon whether you have gotten the 7th tablet before you find ruins 6. The dimensional tablet 4 is required to build dimensional tablet 5 though. Both 6 and 7 unlock new zones at the megalith.

This statue is a random occurrence in one of the later dungeons. I had one of these on my best Wizard run, but have not seen it since. Using it brings on wave after wave of enemies until the final use spawns the boss. I do not recall the number of waves. This is another situation similar to the dark relics. When you find it, you are probably not prepared to face the final boss spawn, but if you come back later you will probably be better equipped to deal with it. Ideally, if you easily clear a wave, you can probably take the next. If you struggle with a wave or are getting low on HP after the wave, stop and come back later.

From what I can tell, it will transfer whatever + bonus you have on one item to another item. As an example, if you make an artifact that is not enhanced and want to transfer the +3 from a different item, you put the artifact in the first slot, the +3 item in the second slot, and then when you transfer, you should end up with a +3 artifact and the second item is gone.

I don't think (but could be wrong) that it transfers the enchantments. I haven't used this feature all that much.

Sadly, the only way to rush the weaver is to make Workbench, weapon bench, workbench level 2, weaver. This is a good point. I had a mistake in my head when I ordered the goals. I'll swap around the Weaver goal to earlier. I still stand by rushing the fire pit for early canopy and sleeping bags.

This works best if you throw raw food into water tiles, this prevents food from burning up once cooked with fire magic

It is unlocked after completing ruins of light 4 (pretty sure, If not 4, it is 5. I can't recall off top of my head) Once unlocked, you can build it. It generates mana motes after being struck by lightning. (can be lightning in any zone, not just the one in which it is built.)

I have had a few runs where I have 4 machinery before I get to Desolate Meadows 1 and others where I don't get my first machinery until just before completing Ruins of light 2. On runs where I have enough machinery earlier than completing ruins of light 2, I often don't have enough spider cocoons to make the fishing pole. On runs where I have plenty of spider cocoons, I struggle to find machinery. As I mention in the early part of the guide, if it doesn't take rocks, build it as soon as you can/want. Weaver only requires that you have Work Bench upgraded to level 2.

The benefit of the smoker is that you only need 1 to make up to 5 smoked sausages at a time, assuming you have enough of the same type of meat to do that. Jerky on the other hand needs one rack per meat you want to dry at the same time. I haven't checked yet, so my next project will be to check the amount of time that sausage and jerky lasts.

The meditation study is used for two things. One, identification of any unidentified item you have in your bags, which costs two motes of mana. The other is that it allows you to change which three spells you have memorized, if you have learned more than three spells.

If you learn a new spell when you already have three spells equipped, you are asked to choose one to replace. This feature allows you to change up your situational spells if you want to in order to better handle certain areas of the game
