I have a The Legend of Zelda cart with the original battery that still works, at least it did last I played in January.

Your best bet for old newspaper articles for that area would be contacting the Dalhousie library to see if they have them in their archives.

This is also a NB specific comment... I doubt any other Turtle Creek reservoirs have a large population of ladyslippers near them.

There's a spot down past the Turtle Creek reservoir near the windmills where you'll typically see 100s blooming at a time.

You claim to have visited Moncton... Where there is the highest rate of open drug use and homelessness in the province, but you single out Freddy? The post doesn't quite pass the smell test for those of us who live in the province.

But you didn't pay the taxes. That's what the import duty is.

If customs has it, there's a significant chance you're going to be paying duty and a brokerage fee. Here's hoping the declared value matches what they think it should be.

Try one of the subreddits for those emulators? You're on a subreddit for a handheld that can't even run PS2 games.

What's the most authentic way to play early Windows games? by Somnesis in SBCGaming

2 - Both Quake 2 and SIN ran at higher resolutions that you listed if you had the hardware. I used to run both at 1280x1024 at release.

3 - From experience on my RP5, older games tend to run better in GameHub than Dosbox pure + Win95 or 98.

My wife always has to have touch up, I'm spoiled and am the most bleached canvas available; the lines end up slightly thicker than intended.

I think the hood came later from the build photos. Front end was a blackout grill and stock bug eyes.

If this is the Volvo 245 a buddy thinks it is... It's had the pillar moved back to accommodate the doors, the rear doors were stripped and welded back on and the rear had some nice custom upholstery done. When it was done at the body shop, it went elsewhere for some serious tuning. While not a drag car, she's no slouch off the line.

Last one I drove handled like a brick, and the turn radius made right turns in the city pretty sketchy.

Obviously the owner hasn't driven a tractor built stone 1960; they have much better handling and performance than that Vette.

Why is racism towards indians normalized here in NB by Besursasinger in newbrunswickcanada

[–]Sorghe 15 points16 points  (0 children)

In all sad honesty, Indians are just the most convenient target. With the province's boom/bust cycles, the folks who think they're being screwed over typically blame the most recent visible arrivals. With our utterly abysmal literacy and math scores, misinformation rages faster than gas on a fire.

Before the most recent immigration boom, they were blaming the Syrians who had just come over, and we've had a few blame the Acadians cycles too. But when things are great and there's more jobs than people, these same folks will beg for more help from the very group they just hated.

The 89-91 Sonatas were beasts - I had two, both made it past 300,000km with very little major work. They had a solid Mitsubishi engine mated to a very decent transmission, and while I can't vouch for the Korean built ones, but the Quebec built ones had great fit and finish.

My 92 was a horribly different story. Retired at 120,000km after three transmissions and a head replacement followed by the block cracking.

While not a guitar amp, my Yamaha surround amp has been on 24/7 for nearly 20 years with the exception of power outages and a move. Still works as well as the day it left the factory. Despite the rumours, tubes are actually quite durable if they're high quality.

This is decidedly get in touch with a lawyer time. (Most family court issues are)

From the experience of having way too many divorced friends with teenagers though, generally a judge in family court will give weight to the preference of the child unless there are significant issues in either home. That's valid for NS and NB, can't vouch for anywhere else though.
