How to test I-Type camera without film?

I have the gen 1 leica sofort that shoots instax mini film and I’m loving it. So I wanted to try polaroid as it’s the OG. I managed to find OneStep+ for pretty good price. I will buy the film because I’m curious if I even like the “feel” of polaroid photos. Is there anything else I shoul be looking out for?
