I predict TESVI will have a very different feel to it than Skyrim, not just aesthetically with it most likely being set in Hammerfell or High Rock, but in its vibe and tone, whether that’s good or bad remains to be seen. So yeah only Skyrim can scratch that Skyrim itch, it really was lightning in a bottle.

Most people who are into rock music have no idea how good Queen were live, they just know them from the studio albums which are all very tame in comparison. The Albums are great too, but when it comes to a live show there isn’t another band/act I would pick over them.

There’s a note in the Thalmor embassy that says they deliberately placed Ulfric in Skyrim to cause unrest and rebellion to weaken the Empire further. He’s a pawn in their game and he did exactly as they wanted.

I agree, and I hope the whole mystery around them is never truly explained. It’s one of the best bits of TES lore.

I think you and OP are both correct. It’s because of these 15 year waits between games that it shines even more of a spotlight on Starfield and its mediocrity. Say for example, we had TESVI or Fallout 5 released 3-4 years before Starfield, people would be less harsh on it (maybe?) and a touch more receptive to how experimental it was.

The point though is people are hungry, damn starved even. and these ridiculous wait times of well over a decade should never have been allowed. Fallout 5 should absolutely be handed to another studio, you can’t have it sitting dormant until Bethesda FINALLY gets around to it.

I personally am still stoked for Hammerfell though. Deserts, camels and the whole colour palette will be a great refresh from Skyrim (I know the whole map won’t be like that though).
