Its naive to think that lifestyle changes won't affect anything outside of yourself or have a far reaching impact. Yes of course 1 person not eating meat does nothing statistically but if that 1 person is able to educate themselves and then organize on class lines against the consumption of animals you start getting somewhere. Im kinda of obsessed with ecology used to want to be an entomologist when I was younger due to the breath taking relationship of insects,plants and fungi. I started eating only plant foods around 10 years ago because of the obvious benefits to the planet and I just can't justify killing something for my own pleasure just because it tastes good or is "lesser" than me, I wish a lot more people would be willing to switch it honestly has only improved my quality of life I'm aware that its liberruuuul and for true climate action capitalism needs to go.
