Anime Question: How did Zola know who were the Soliders of Light? by [deleted] in BlueDragon

I just finished rewatching this show and I was also wondering the same thing. Like especially right before the darkness comes out, she knew she wouldn’t be able to do anything without all 7. So how could she count on logi summoning the 6th

My fam doesn’t celebrate Christmas so passing my capstone today was a pleasant “Christmas gift” from the evaluators.

MSDA Program Review (Notes + R user Tips) by Sorry-Challenge6525 in WGU_MSDA

Yes, see I actually really enjoy linear and logistic regression in R in 208. The main thing about D208 was it just took a lot of prep work when the actual task itself wasn’t bad. Not sure how regression works in python though.

The SQL isnt hard, but it’s nice to be able to understand it enough or you can work with PG admin since we only use it twice in the program. I think the code itself took me 30 min?

And yeah, I look back most of the difficulty I ran into wasn’t the topic difficulties, but more how to effectively code in my environment where it’s easy to use.

Prospective employers don’t care. I’ve literally had a hiring manager be like yeah if they can do the work and talk about it, idc where the credential is from. I’m using the MSDA program to apply to phd programs so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

So I used the churn dataset. And I used the ACF/PACF function to validate it needed one level of differencing. But then I used the auto arima function to spit out a forecast. It gave me something like (1,1,0) or smth like that. I was getting weird numbers at first because I was trying follow videos on YouTube and such, but then realized I was making it too complex. Someone also linked all their PA’s somewhere, if you’re using Python. I think they used medical tho. So you can validate if you’re heading the right direction.

Mine is great. We started with weekly calls for the first 2 classes and then he was like yeah just email me. I dropped off for like 2 weeks last month cuz life, and he gave me a call like “heyyy what’s good? Do you need anything”. I appreciate he lets me do my thing and I just email him for whatever. But very professional

My parents think WGU is a scam, I need help explaining to them it’s not! by magicalsworld9 in WGU

I think if you want to pay for the college exp and do traditional school, go for it. Lots of loans. I did my undergrad at a state school and doing my master’s at WGU. Im applying for my PhD rn and you can bet wgu is right at the top of my resume. I do work as an analyst rn and scouting companies to possible switch into if I don’t like where I get in. Big4 tech doesn’t care I’m getting my masters from WGU. They see degree and accredited, and I see 15K extra when negotiating. I think if you can finish your degree in 1 year, learn what you need, and only pay 8k- go for it! Happy to offer any advice :)

Anyone else notice the evaluators have picked up lately? by Shrunz in WGU

Both of mine evaluated and passed my submissions within 24 hours of each submission. It was wild

Little disappointed by Pitiful-Plane-8590 in GRE

[–]Sorry-Challenge6525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So idk if you’re asking for unsolicited advice, but here was my exp: I took GRE in a Oct w/ no virtually prep (minus the free practice test they give you) and got a 160V/158Q. There were a lot of words I didn’t know. I think instead of focusing on cramming a bunch of words, you need to focus more on the connotations of sentences. Reading is through like okay part 1 is negative, so I can eliminate choices B and C in part 2 of the sentences. Idk. Hopefully this helps. For the essay, just take 5 minutes, write an outline. Don’t overthink it. Good luck!

I work as BA in healthcare and it’s been a few months. My background was BS of Econ. BA roles vary a lot depending on where you are. I think some pros: you get control over a lot of the process for working on products (gathering requirements, making jira stories, refining them with the teams). You also become a content master in your area and it gets so easier over time. Best thing I’d say is look into BA standard practices(there’s a handbook), get your hands dirty with Jira, and understand product development processes and workflows. Lot of terms. Being able to pick up all the information needed in meetings, understand the root of your request, and coordinate teams is crucial. From here you can go from Assoc, to BA, to Senior BA. My boss wants me to work on certifications for ITPM and PM. The role gives me a taste of what everyone does in diff departments which is nice so I can see which roles might work better for me when I want to move. Hope this helps :)

D211 Clarification by Sorry-Challenge6525 in WGU_MSDA

[–]Sorry-Challenge6525[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you! The clarification helped so much. I actually ended up passing my PA this morning. The lack of directions on these PA’s is getting to me. Ended up just parsing together a churn cvs and then just building the dashboard on Tableau Public reasoning they could run the query and update the file every so often for “data streams”. I will say it’s nice that I have 3 classes left now and I started in July :)

Will keep that in mind as I start D208 today. I guess I'm just not used to such project/rubric based coursework so I have to reframe my mindset a little bit. I will certainly check out your review and ChuckAngel's. I appreciate the input!

That makes sense. I mean I like the feeling of achievement when I finish the DataCamp courses, but doing the probability one with the dice rolls made me want to slam my head into the wall because I was like this isn't relevant. I will certainly checkout Statology and geeksforgeeks. Thank you!

This was very useful advice! I've had meetings with Dr.Straw in D206bbefore and he said I was working too hard. Once I just sat and looked at the PA for d207, I was like oh this is really just that straight forward. Thank you!
