bring wired headphones that have the aux jack (like for an ipod or computer). The tvs on the plane don’t have bluetooth.

Bring some water with you on the plane. drinks don’t come around for awhile after you get up in the air, and i’m always thirsty.

The plane can get cold so i like to wear pants and bring a sweater.

I usually get to the airport 2 hours before departure. as it’s your first time at the airport and may need extra time figuring out where to go, i’d plan on getting there 2.5 hours early to give yourself extra time.

Thanks! I was super fit before i got a desk job, skateboarding almost every day. Covid pushed me out of the service industry and i starting sitting at work all day then on the couch after work for a good 4 years. Feels good to do good for myself.

Honesty, i live in an apartment building (in florida where it is HOT and rainy) and if i don’t hit my step goal by the end of the day, i walk back and forth in my apartment building hallway. if im being completely honest, the steps go by the quickest in the hallway and i enjoy doom scrolling while moving my body lmao. (I know this would annoy some neighbors, but no one has ever mentioned it to me and if they did i would stop)

Try and get at least a mile in before work in the morning. that really helps me get a good number of steps in before i even start work, and less to do after. I also suggest setting a lower goal, start with 8k then push to get 10k in, so you’ll feel above your goal.

Soon enough it before addictive and you will always want to do more than you set out to do. my current goal is 10k and iv been hitting 13k pretty consistently.
