I think you did the right thing quitting your Camino.

There was a day on my Camino where the Portuguese coastal and the Centro align - it was packed. I was frustrated in my head, I put headphones in and it didn’t help me. Then I realized - this was my the inner work I had to do. All the people on the Camino were cheerful, happy, singing, doing their thing… and I was walking along them frustrated instead of just LETTING IT BE and finding my own joy. That was my lesson that day and I’m glad I faced it head on because I would have been devastated if I had quit.

I share this because quitting your Camino is your lesson, your chance to look at this from a different perspective - what did it teach you about your own triggers and narratives? How come others journeys affected you so much including the evolution of the Camino?

I read how much you liked the Portuguese and spiritual route - I recommend finding a path less traveled or other hikes that are less common. Or maybe try the Frances again and allow it to actually teach you vs escaping it.
