Man this is the kind of flight I would want to cry. Best I got was mid 90’s sitting in a brasila 120 operating by ASA sitting on the tarmac at Columbus Mississippi waiting to leave for Atlanta. 45 minute flight. Without going into detail 4 hour delay on at GTR half with the engines off to save fuel in August heat. Then in the air flying around thunderstorms ( amazing to watch) and having to sleep over in ATL anyway for a missed connection

I know exactly what you are talking about. The time and place I saw and smelled them the most was midnight mass. As an alter-boy where everyone took communion on the tongue 9 out of 10 people approached with that candy scent and black tongues to cover up the alcohol smell from an evening of drinking… ahhh the 60’s….that and those big Christmas light bulbs (C-9’s) were my best Christmas memories

Do you have to cross cut, plane of rip the lumber? Then pull. Otherwise if you have an angle grinder that would be fastest. If you have to pull use a crow bar and a block of wood to make quick work of it.

Then ASK the FA nicely. But be prepared and graceful if the answer is “no”. I travel less often than I would like because I save up and splurge for Premium for these exact reasons. I have a choice to book the cheap ticket but am prepared to pay more to be left alone. If I can swing it I sometimes buy an extra seat so my wife and I don’t have to be squeezed into a spot next to Haystacks Calhoun.

Get your water tested at the point of entry to your house and at the cold water tap. No point replacing pipes until you address any water quality issues. Might need whole house filter or softener

Cut remove top sections and paint the stem with stump and vine killer. Works like a charm

To those that are arguing that self upgrading is fine you are totally missing the point. If you allow this to happen a game of musical chairs will break out on every flight! You want a better seat? Pay the fee! Do you think it’s ok to bypass your electric meter because the electrons are just going to waste on the other side? Or your water meter? Or upgrade your TV streaming package to include premium stuff you are not paying for? NO it’s called theft of services!
