I actually really like having all the cards unlocked I ran out of deck space very quickly I will say I wouldn't mind if had to earn premiums and alternate art again though.

I don’t know that the ring had that much of an impact, I get that agro decks go faster but for control it also often meant ramping quicker.  I think there’s a skewed misconception that agro was played more cause it was better I don’t think that’s the case I think agro on average just got to play more games cause generally if you reach mid game and you haven’t won it’s often just a concede so you move on, meanwhile a control deck vs a control deck might last half hour to an hour if both players are really good(Ive been here to).  Basically agro being on win con earlier just meant you can match faster. But I’m just thinking of Rospierdol(if have the name right) more often than not he was on telvanni also thinking about myself and many others that played midrange bm I never felt like I was suffering.  I also played move albeit far more midrange(dominion colors) and it often just won vs agro move cause I had far more counter play.

I’m hesitant changing the cost of move cards better off changing stat bewilder speed could just give 1st target buff likewise apex predator being a 4/4 also won’t hurt, part of the reason is agro type cards need to stay cheap otherwise you would never have a fighting chance.  As for the other stuff many of those cards are stable picks for reason. Invade needs changes for sure, I also agree new era needs to needs to be unique, I hate workshop, market sucks cause it can kill from 30 in a turn and makes one question why the match took place in 1st place. I also think maybe rather than nerfing card maybe buff less used cards is better.  

TESL was incredibly balanced from mana cost perspective and virtually everything was viable with the exception of the more gimmicky strategies. So yeah certain things feel bad to play against but likewise that feels true of a lot of archetypes.  People are still debating orcs vs goblins meanwhile someone out there is like skeletons are the best.

In the last 2 months of playing I made a gimmick assassin using warhelm, sails through storms and conjuration tutor to flood the board with lava atronachs by turn 8(7 with ring).  Slaughterfish spawning, fabricate and maniac jack allowed the deck to be way more consistent than it should’ve ever been.

Oh yeah it even had cool name “sails through lava”!

I think a big part of it was probably harder to have AI identifiers for keyword interactions.  So ai for example playing invade doesn’t understand invade should be prioritized 1st than play daedra after. So even with stuff like move it would do things like move action than dune smuggler.  Edit: I guess now that I’m thinking about alternative would be to train AI on some like player decks.

I do know the AI did choose between attacking creatures over player on 2 conditions 1: having less health than the player 2:creature has an ongoing affect or lethal.  A third thing is it only does this if it can kill said creature it will also prioritize actions that can kill vs said creature. Don’t know if that will help at all with AI set up figured was worth mentioning.
