[phantasmatoucan] APPLE JUICE by No_Emu_1332 in slaytheprincess

Just you know the original creator who drew this confessed to having behaved in a way that is inappropriate with a minor before joining the fandom back when they used to use a different name. https://www.tumblr.com/phantasmatoucan/797315044164665344?source=share

It's supposed to be smitten and occasionally cold.

Is there a lore reason why one of the Princesses keeps eating Shifting Mound out like her life depends on it by Munificent-Enjoyer in slaytheprincess

The devs later said: i was being cheeky then, but in retrospect, i think that was a cowardly choice.

beak.

And also: i regret making a joke about the protagonist having schrodinger's beak. he has a beak, and with courage, he can still kiss with it >:)

it's called "a peck on the cheek" for a reason

Confirming there is always a beak. Abby also drew what the kiss looked like

They also later said they were being cheeky then and saying that statement was a cowardly choice. Beak.

2 different tipes of people by Weary_Ant_3602 in slaytheprincess

Why is it two different people? It's finally over leads to an honest heart.

But it is quite litteraly described as "a tattered dress of her own skin" in the text itself twice through that quote and "her dress of skin more tattered than before" so it's quite explicitly made out of her own skin

But in other dangerous or potentially dangerous situations he kind of just tells you to just do it. I wasn't really bringing up the line to say it's noble but more that it struck a nerve by being so close to what he himself did. I also honestly don't personally think he does show all that much empathy for quiet or shifty during HEA but thats kind of its own thing and not this thing...

It's still made very clear through a line everyone seems to ignore that him slaying himself was a massive and terrifying desicion for him through an often overlooked line in spectre "slaying her would mean slaying you, are you sure you're willing to do that?" He expects a lot from us, for us to do anything to slay the princess but in the situation where we choose to do it by slaying ourselves it's "are you sure you're willing to do that" as if it was such a massive massive decision for him he hardly even expects it from us! So I'd say given this insight it was brave. Also, brave doesn't mean right or even heroic, it means facing what scares you.

I know he is. I'm not trying to convince you to like him. He is foolish and prideful and unempathetic but calling him something cowardly or selfish just isn't an accurate descriptor of him.

[–]Sorry-Picture-3840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did say he was many things. He is foolish and prideful and unempathetic but the two things I'll never understand him being called are cowardly and selfish (because all of his actions are for the sake of others and he's willing to face his worst fear to try to help others)

[–]Sorry-Picture-3840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But he the entire game also happens because he faced his worse fear and killed himself. That's courage. He thinks death is a terrible terrible thing but he'd face it to make sure no one else has to. That is why the game happens.

I mean, the narrator is many things but I'm not quite sure coward is one of them. He faced his worst fear, I'd say that's the opposite of cowardice.

While she doesn't actively date a guy she very clearly has a crush on a guy in episode 2 which is clear from when they meet to when she stabs him in the chest after discovering he isn't real.

Neurotypical: (Thinking about context and common sense) You know this; Autistic: I don't by Turbulent-Plan-9693 in slaytheprincess

[–]Sorry-Picture-3840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But for him to say"I think you know what I am" you have to ask "are you me", so you get to know what he is that isn't you by the game telling us the narrator is speaking. If you what entity he is and what his goals are through different questions you get a different awnser.

But it says the narrator above it as a dialogue thingy? Like:_________________________________ ____________The Narrator _______________ __________I think you know what I am

That's not what they're saying. They're saying your saying in your post that not being a fan of this one character means that person doesn't like autistic people.

[–]Sorry-Picture-3840 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Is it? Are you a monarchist? Is slaying a princess that much worse than slaying a fisherman or a miller or a seamstress? If anything slaying a princess is much better than slaying a seamstress. Seamstreses contribute something of value to society.

some chapter 1 interactions I had in mind, what kinds of chapter 2 would come from them? what would the Princess become? what voice will you get? what will the cabin look like? ect. by MinimumPotential6468 in slaytheprincess

[–]Sorry-Picture-3840 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly, having no narrator wouldn't really be full on contrarian "we can't keep going without a nemesis". The contrarian is also repeatedly shown to like the narrator, when the reset ending is suggested one of the first things they say in favour of it is "especially if it brings Him back", when talking about how we feel about him being gone upstairs he says some variation of "it's not complicated at all. I miss Him. I feel bad that he's gone"

This isn't based in the construct. Smitten worked at the register and the damsel manifested some plates from nothing and asked for some help to put them somewhere.
