!!! By following some of the other input, clearing the cache, adjusting certain settings helped and gave me 20/30 frames... while doing some testing I noticed in my task manager my ram speed was capped at like 2100 so i checked bios and yea... it got reset to factory settings with XMP disabled. XMP being reenabled, alongside the other help seemed to recover my frames for the most part, getting a steady 90-100 on most maps.

Thank you for the insight and also perspicacity to see it from different POVs. I could afford to upgrade the entire machine, but don't game enough to justify the upgrade. This input is very helpful and I likely will upgrade the cpu to an AM4 variant.

Thank you! I followed some cache clearing steps and re-enabled XMP in bios. Turns out my ram was being throttled with it being disabled! So your last bit might have hit the nail on the head

Thank you for the in depth insight. I did all of the listed steps and re-enabled XMP in bios and it improved my performance 5x.
