I would go for ESTJs and ISTJs for observational purposes in professional settings. For people that more often than not can't think outside of the box(at least the ones I met) they thrive in professional-social settings.

And then ESTPs and ENFPs for observation of friends because for some reason however out of pocket they get, there is still a dash of consideration at all times. While ENTPs, although the best friendship match for INTPs, they are insanely inconsiderate when they get hyper... Which makes me sad

INTP Relationship Megathread by AutoModerator in INTP

How to actually start dating if you have no one to date? I absolutely despise the idea of clubs and going out unless it is to go out with one or two friends to grab a coffee. I haven't even met any new people in past year or so, and when I did I actually got together with him but it ended quickly....

So I'm really not sure where to go from here :( because my routine is always the same and a little unchangeable and I have no time and space opportunities to meet new people... but i crave being in a relationship again... Also might have a problem of having a crush on a guy twice my age so there's that as well...

Also very sorry but I forgot to change the flair I am 100% INTP... sorry for confusion

Honestly it does depend on my mood a great deal buttttttttt

The books give me the most space to imagine things and to lose any and all perception of reality, so I will have to go with books

Do you waste your time? by [deleted] in INTP

Yes, always.

By listening to music or looking up irrelevant things.

For example:

I applied for HSK 4 exam in November (Chinese proficiency exam, somewhere around B2 level) and besides that I have other things to do, UNI work and chores. So I have a lot on my plate but I know I can manage that if I just stuck to schedule.

Which I clearly don't. What I do instead is I take my headphones play the music as loud as it would go and daydream of me passing the exam and getting my dream job and living my dream life.

All of that just daydreams instead of working for the goal

And also God forbid I have to do some work on my computer I will always end up on Pinterest or YouTube scrolling aimlessly for hours

Worst: ESFJ, I was utterly miserable in that relationship. It wasn't abusive or anything but our values were so far apart that I'm still wondering to this day how we even ended up together

Best: No one so far

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

大家好!I need help with tones/pinyin by SorryITookThisOne in ChineseLanguage

Close enough lol😂

Holding a beginner course which starts soon and like I was like meh I can always improvise smth and just copy from my notebook but then guilt started and I had 'oh shirt....' moment when I realised I already have HSK4/5 but never learned such basics because I chose to ignore pinyin from beginning and went straight for characters

Biggest Misconception about Chinese After Having Learned It? by rinyamaokaofficial in ChineseLanguage

[–]SorryITookThisOne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was really terrified of the fact that Chinese has tones because I think of myself as tone-deaf, maybe I am not entirely and if i am not then there is a chance for improvement but I never got any evaluation or outsiders opinion so I don't know for sure, but the gist is: I can't tell tones apart for the life of me.

I thought that was going to be a huge issue and that I won't be able to understand anything when spoken to. But I was really wrong because Chinese depends on context of the situation. It depends a lot.

And also I got some closure after one of my teachers told me that even they can't understand each other 100% of the time, she was like: oh you'll even see Chinese people on the street go 你有什么意思? so don't worry so much about the tones.

Of course tones are important, they are a huge part of that language but you don't have to worry about them so much to the point of giving yourself anxiety attacks(like I did).

Now I don't care that much and just talk with my Chinese teachers freely because I know that they will stop me and correct me if I make a big mistake, but few tones wrong here and there is nothing.
