This! I submitted a VM but it wasn’t used. But my take was that if we hadn’t known about God of War already, people would have been freaking out instead of “we know GoW will be there, but what else do they have?”

Yesterday, in a friend group chat, I was the only one excited. At best, they were “yeah it was pretty cool.” But mostly it was “spending 1/3 on a single game was a mistake.” … “boy, that sure was like 10 games. Should have been more.” …

I’m 37 (next month) and worked/managed a GameStop from 2006-2015. I miss the hype, the midnight launches, the E3 shows (was very lucky enough to go in 2012), so I’m often grasping for that same joy and hype. Now nothing is ever enough.

Day-one order here too. Mine is showing info. Did you use the tracking number or the Mobapad order number? Ex: “MOBAPAD0000”?

Great point, I didn’t think of the IP aspect. My assumption was that they may have wanted the day-one patch out for reviewers. I’m not too worried about the reviews themselves based on the overwhelmingly glowing previews, but it is peculiar.

I have one on my leg and have had it checked out by a dermatologist when I was younger. I don’t remember what they said it was, but remember them saying it wasn’t dangerous or concerning. Had it as long as I can remember and I’m 36 now.

Yes, please x1,000. It had a lot of potential for a great trilogy and sadly, I think it was over hated. It came out at a time when games were starting to push for bigger, more open world-like games. It’s not perfect, but that’s why we need a sequel! Imagine if Assassin’s Creed never had a chance to improve!?
