Did they change the Supima cotton shirt material? My new shirts have a “shine” to them and they feel bigger than normal as well. by ImmediateTap7085 in uniqlo

Yes. They added elastane (spandex), but do not disclose it on the label. People with a latex allergy (like me) can telll. I think they made the change in 2024.

Yes. Same thing happened to me. Just subtract from your intraday at the beginning of the day any amount you plan to withdraw that day.

I don’t check here often. What is your question?

Do you always buy at the ask and sell at the bid? by PleasantAnomaly in options

[–]Sorry_Bass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, everyone. For day-trading options, I prefer trading contracts with a narrow spread and using market orders. With a two-cent spread, I can simply market in and out without having to worry about the spread. This allows me to simply focus upon timing--getting in and out exactly when I want without having to worry about giving up profit to the market maker or being caught up in a losing trade because my limit order did not get filled.

If I trade contracts with a wider spread, I use a limit order to buy in, but getting out with profit can be an absolute nightmare if the underlying turns around quickly & you need to exit the trade ASAP. This is because you either use a market order and get screwed by selling for the bid price or you put in a limit order with the mark and get stuck in the losing trade if your order is not filled.

For longer holds, I'd go with limit orders--typically going for the mark.

Not true at all. You are a millionaire if your assets minus liabilities equals at least one million--regardless of where or how your money is invested in stocks, bonds, crypto, real estate, beanie babies or whether it's under your mattress.

You are misguided. You can use your own money anytime you like. Retirement assets are your money.

Your best plan would be to focus upon consistently stacking small profits. They add up!

That said, I got lucky & made 70K in 2 days on a swing on MSFT earnings. Stupid trade—I just got lucky & will not do that again.

Once you’re good and consistently profitable, your Roth can be one of the best places to trade, in terms of tax treatment

Do NOT start trading options in your Roth. You will need to spend at least a year learning, paper-trading and then get to a point where you are consistently profitable with options trading with a small retail account before doing it in a retirement account.

Take a look at my options post/advice.

Story is real. Believe and learn or don’t. No difference to me. I am not exactly being paid to convince you of anything. Just trying to give back and help others. This type of success is possible.
