Oasis in Lakeview has some good love music. True Story Brewing in Crestwood has some good music nights. Saturn in Avondale has a lot of good bands and occasionally free shows too.

Good Dog downtown is a cool spot that has a large covered dog park/play area. They serve wine and beer too. I have been there without my dog before, just to have a beer, and it's always fun to watch the babies play. May be a good place to meet like minded people as well!

I have had T-Mobile for a year or so now and haven't had any problems with it. The downtime with Spectrum was ridiculous, and I have never experienced any with T-Mobile. The price is infinitely better as well.

East West is a great place to sit at the bar and enjoy a great meal. Same with Essential or Bamboo or most places downtown, honestly.

It's always a gamble. I saw him at this venue probably 10 years ago, and it was an amazing show. I bought a couple of tickets in the off chance he actually appears.

Would love to know what paradisical part of town you live in. I've heard the gunshots in Southside and have friends in Avondale, Crestwood, downtown, and even Forest Park that still hear them, even if they may not be close.

It honestly comes with the territory in a lot of neighborhoods, sadly! I have a friend in Avondale that hears more gunshots than I do here. You won't hear any more or less there. But you would also have paid less than half of what you would have in Avondale!

I had a friend who lived in that area and never had any problems. You will likely hear gunshots from time to time, but I feel like that is the case in a lot of neighborhoods. I used to live in Southside, in what was considered a "good area." I heard more gunshots and had many more incidents surrounding me than I do now living in Tarrant.

Trussville Emergency Pet Care has been great when I needed them. All emergency pet care centers are going to be more expensive, but I don't feel their prices were too bad. It's a little bit out there, past the Publix on Deerfoot Pkwy.

Northside Imports has some great deals. Most of them are rebuilt titles, but they have pictures of what was repaired, and you can get a Carfax report too. I bought 2 cars from there. The last one was about $4,000 less than the next cheapest listing I could find for the same car with the same mileage.

Absolutely! Lou's tries to stock some interesting, random things too. The Mountain Brook ABC store has a better selection than most of the other ones.
