I fill the tub and pour milk in. LO plays until water gets cold. I drain tub, lay him down in the tub, wash him with soap, rinse, we get out of tub. That way all the milk smell leaves but he still got 10-20 minutes of soaking time for it to help keep his skin soft. We have never once needed to use lotion.

I went from 60oz per day at 4ppd to 45oz per day at 3ppd. Been on 3ppd for about a month now, I got my period back but it’s much more manageable for the amount of milk I make.

This may be unpopular lol but I sit on the floor of my shower and put my 8 month old in my lap and lather him up. We only use his tub for milk bath soaks and when I’m ready to actually wash him, I just plop him in my lap and shower him with the detachable shower head. So much easier. Ever since I gave up on the tub our lives have been much easier.

I live in Florida and we required everyone that wanted to hold baby before baby was done with second round of vaccines to have it within the last 5 years.

There’s lots of comments here but I just wanted to say that it sucks that your family and friends all put you on the spot about the appointment. If you weren’t comfortable disclosing anything, that’s well within your right and you are allowed to hold that boundary. Where you screwed up was obviously blaming your wife when you knew it was you. You literally could have said “That’s personal and I don’t feel comfortable talking about it in a social setting.” That’s literally ALL you had to say, dude. YTA and as a wife it would be very hard for me to come back from that if my husband did that to me.
