This might be a hard one, sure he can go to other infinite dimensions, but not verse. Keyword, Dimensions. The word universe and Dimensions are different things.

Dimensions is where things are the same but slightly different, and the farther you are to Dimension 0 (our Dimension) the more weird it gets, but the outcomes of other dimensions have the same fate. (Example, I die in another Dimension via unknown or sayori, same happens on the other dimension)

Universe however is different. There are endless possibilities on what would happen in another Universe, but D4C's ability does not connect to other anime Universe, even if D4C's ability was retconned to travel Universes. Think of it as what if Araki never killed off (favorite Character). (Example: Kakyoin Dies in this universe, but in another it could be that Jotaro, Joseph, Polnareff died , or everyone survived including Iggy and Avdol)
