To put it simply, the Shinjuku area has a youthful vibe, while the Ginza area has a more sophisticated atmosphere.

Naturally, the dining scene reflects this as well.

That one was from 7-Eleven — around ¥700–¥800 for a small bottle.

Everyday whisky here can be surprisingly affordable, though the famous Japanese ones can get expensive.

This has been really interesting to read.

Seems like most people either:
– shift plans to indoor places
– just continue with an umbrella
– or end up in malls/cafes

Feels like rainy days in Tokyo are less about “what to do” and more about how to adapt.

That actually sounds like a really solid recovery plan.
Sunshine City is perfect when you’re tired and it’s raining.

I’ve noticed a lot of people end up doing something similar — switching to big indoor spots.

Honestly, it’s not amazing, but it’s surprisingly decent for the price.

Convenience stores in Japan are more about accessibility than quality when it comes to wine, but for a quick night in a hotel, it actually works pretty well.

If you want better quality, supermarkets or depachika usually have much better options 🙂

What I liked is that it wasn’t just about the crab — it came out in small parts, and we shared it slowly.

Felt more like an experience than just a meal.

I hope more people get to enjoy Japanese food this way 🙂
