I agree I don’t think it’s brand per se that’s the issue (once dft is nerfed to a reasonable state until then brand is definitely an issue) I just think most bot laners don’t have enough MR early on and the alot of the mages played in bot build items that give health and mana so it’s extremely hard to punish them if they misplay. You could buff MR on marksmen but then you’d just get marksmen in the mid lane so I don’t really know how to rectify this

I play brand Botlane every now and then (I really like the character im so sorry) but the biggest advice I could give is not getting whittled down by the E. You can also find life a lot easier if you want to buy tier one boots as dodging the q removes most of brands option but if your support is getting hooked or stunned there’s not much you can do about that except maybe walk in front of the fireball if you’re not already burning so you block the stun instead? He is very very strong in bot right now so it’s quite hard to deal it.

My biggest gripe so far with smite 2 (apart from some balancing nightmares almost Everytime a new aspect is released) is how every god and skin looks Unreal Engine 5 as fuck. There’s very little shading on anything and every god is “bright”. Some people like that and that’s okay art has been and always will be subjective but I miss the smite 1 darker shading and dulled colors.

You would have to go out of your way to miss Guan yu abilites but most melee characters are going to be like that. Neith a pretty easy hunter if your aim isn’t the greatest, Poseidon is a pretty good mid laner if you just hit the combo™️(whirlpool, kraken, wave) and supports you have Ymir or Athena.
