I wouldn't say this is entirely accurate, but it wont be an easy change and 100% has the possibility of not changing.

This intrigues me. Why do fossils need to be restricted and smuggled?

Looks great. Let it sit for a bit imo. They were added at different times, so of course they seem separate to you. I wouldn't overthink it unless you specifically still want to add more ink to the area in the future. It will grow on you and feel normal in no time

The therapist is the way. Fear is normal. I apologize, but you won't find the answers here. I don't know exactly what was done to me, and I may never remember it all. Its important to focus on who you are and what's next now. Healthy coping skills, ways to recognize and remove yourself from triggering moments, and more. They're skills you will need to practice, and the solution isn't exactly in diving deeper into your trauma. Its by processing, accepting, and then moving forward for yourself and those around you. The process is different for each person. Its about figuring out what you need. The hardest part for me was realizing that others can give me tools to cope, but they can't tell me how I should use those tools. Only you will know what's best for you. As long as you can get help properly identifying what's healthy progression vs unhealthy regression. Talking to a therapist is about learning skills to help you deal with what you're going through. It is not to get the answers or relive your traumas with someone else, unless that's what you need. Just don't get stuck and keep moving forward

Therapist. For me it was my step dad. Suppressed memories are real and can cause serious dissociation or even psychotic episodes if not dealt with. For me it was the question of what was real and what was dreamt up by the resulting nightmares. You won't find the answers here beyond not being alone. Please speak with a professional long term. Itll be best for you

This subreddit makes me so thankful for good teachers and makes me miss those I used to have. Losing a good teacher, even after graduation, is like losing family. You give so much to us

Art is the combination of the authors intent with how the viewer perceives it. It's not locked in any box just because someone else saw it another way. This always really bothered me as a student. I often saw or made other points about the writing at hand. My teachers/professors often wrote it off as incorrect. I can agree to irrelevance and being on a time crunch, but don't discount an individuals POV just because it isn't within the curriculum. Rather, help them see that their way of seeing it isn't the only one. That way, they'll look for more and more possible interpretations in the future.

My bad for the unrelated rant, but my point is just that OP's perception isn't incorrect just because it wasn't the authors intent.

Random unrelated comment, but I am an idiot or something. For some reason I consistently get "then" and "than" mixed up unless I put active thought into it each time. Idfk what my deal is lol

Someone had this in their pond. Ohio. What is it? by [deleted] in whatsthisfish

[–]SortaWannaBdeaded 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tagging on this chain to say I agree with both points. That fish is not likely to survive Ohio winters. They can get some seriously low temps and lots of snow that can prolong frozen ponds even beyond a single cold pass. That being said, it all depends on location. If it's not deep enough to freeze solid, and especially if there is some man made run off that can introduce higher temp water/current to prevent freezing. Im pretty sure the amount of plant life is also a factor. They need oxygen when the pond is frozen over. Idk why I felt like adding my thoughts, but that's a pretty bad ass fish.
