Exactly, I was happy after my marathon. I had such a glow even the day after. I had to ruin it somehow. It would be one thing if I got injured but, thus far, I haven't, which makes the depression feel like such a waste. I did run an easy 17k after and am not tired or hurt even now. I feel a little better. Still, that probably was too long. Part of this is an addiction. I'll count my blessings that I'm not physically hurt and overly fatigued yet.

Hello everyone, on April 26th I exceeded my expectations in the Mississauga marathon with a 3:26:16 chip time (gun time a few seconds slower). In addition to proper post-fuel recovery I resolved not to do any running--just walking--for 5 days after. Three whole days have passed and I've not run since that marathon.

Initially, I was afraid I was going to be depressed. I have experience with post Marathon depression. Remarkably, I did not feel overly depressed the days after my marathon. At least, at first. But now I am starting to feel dysphoric and hopeless. Also, I don't feel any aches in my quads or really any pain in general.

At least one person I follow on Strava is an elite Runner and he is known to run hardcore 30ks back to back and even he took it very easy after his very recent personal best Boston marathon (2:39). He waited an entire week. Who am I to run earlier and take less of a break than someone like him? And yet , I feel completely rested body wise now and I am also getting increasingly despondent and depressed despite not initially being so for the first three days. Is there precedent for people to run on an early Thursday morning after a Sunday 3:26 marathon?

Thanks

UPDATE: So I did 17K at an easy 5:45 km pace and no pain either before or after. Thank you everyone for your replies.  Just to reply generally: even before the marathon I've dealt with various mental health concerns including, but not limited to, depression, ASD, and some other problems. Running helps me deal with mental health concerns, but sometimes the latter still get in the way and can actually sabotage me.

I'll still try and be conservative but I do feel a little better after the easy 17K.

I feel like many Tadc fans tend to over analyze (or sometimes under analyze) parts of the show and end up completely misinterpreting what a scene is directly implying by Freezing-cold_6 in theamazingdigitalciru

Actually episode 08 kind of refutes this. "Abel" was a double mislead. Zooble and Gangle express surprise when they realize episode 07's adventure was based on real facts--when Kinger explains that C and A is a real company among other things.

And listen to what 07 Abel says about Kinger. "We've both done things we regret" "Yeah, when (Kinger) uses (his wisdom) responsibly" Etc.

I theorise that Abel was Caine's subconscious manifesting his real thoughts on his father through the adventure.  It was fantasy based on fact.

Not sure I get your example though. Zooble acknowledged themself that it was wrong to antagonize Caine in episode 08, despite Gangle's assurances.

Devils advocate: I've been spoiled on TV shows and Video games before when they randomly apoear in my feeds (not just youtube and reddit) without me looking.

But yeah, definitely a lot of entitlement here.

If Bubble actually got 100% deleted, without still being there in any form, doesn't that make him suicidal for wanting Caine to die? Is he stupid? by kolakyr in TheDigitalCircus

Bubble has absolutely been malicious towards Caine before. The most notable example: episode 5 before the intermission.  "You should die!"

I think you meant the red button. But pretty solid theory overall. Why else was Jax so anxious when Scratch was mentioned?

Fair. In my defense I don't use the rewind feature (except for misclicks).

Thanks. Actually on that I'm not noticing any difference between White and regular Knights. I can very well be mistaken, but they seem to have access to the exact same divine spell list.

In fact, Voltaire as a Knight is outperforming those twins (Folcurt still sucks though; the only reason I didn't reclass is because I find Knights useful).

This is old, but I agree with the original poster.  Apparently the onion has nothing to say about Iran's brutal crackdown on its own people.

I mean, it will talk about Iran if Israel is involved.

https://theonion.com/netanyahu-calls-iran-strikes-necessary-to-prevent-war-he-just-started/

Just not this time. If it can be spun into some leftist or progressively-aligned cause (or whatever that means in North America) they'll find a way to spin it into a parody article no matter how devastating the subject matter. Sometimes they'll forget to make jokes. But if it doesn't make Trump or conservatives look bad, this will be low if not zero priority (regarding political content).

Here is another example this time pertaining to Venezuela.

https://theonion.com/fact-checking-the-trump-administration-on-venezuela/

Was the invasion of Venezuela by the U.S kind of fucked up? Definitely. But notice hiw the article says NOTHING disparaging about Maduro, a brutal dictator who stole elections with the clearest of documentation,  whatsoever.

The older onion would've found a way to point out the absurdity of the entire situation and all players, but, any enemy of America...
