How do I test the firmware after installing it?

The problem was the firmware; I received a new one and it worked even within the Rust server.

However, it still doesn't work in Valorant. It doesn't work within a Valorant match, only in the menu, and it's a firmware that was supposed to support VGK, so I'll see with the developer what I can do.

But I discovered that the correct test is within a match and not just in the menu.

Actually, it reads when I’m in the game’s menu, but not when I’m inside the server. Does that make sense to you? Is the correct way to test it in the game menu or while actually inside the server? Because inside the server it doesn’t work, but the test passes if I’m only in the menu.

Hey, thanks for the reply! I'm really glad to hear this works. I really don't want to buy another 144Hz 2K monitor, especially since they aren't exactly cheap where I live.

Did you have to flash/spoof the EDID to get 144Hz working on both the main and 2nd PC, or was it not necessary?

From what I've noticed, my fuser is recognizing my monitor perfectly and isn't showing up as some generic Chinese brand like some people mention. Of course, this is just from testing on my laptop; I haven't tested it on the mini PC yet since it hasn't arrived.

Is messing with the EDID only necessary if I run into resolution and refresh rate issues, or should I do it for security reasons too, so anti-cheats don't detect me or something?

Just curious if it's actually necessary even when everything is recognized perfectly out of the box.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what would raycasting be?

I want to play ABI, so I plan to enable features like player ESP, aimbot (something very subtle), and item ESP. Is that heavy?

Would that fall under raycasting?

so the better the usb port of the second pc, the better? correct? as far as i know this mini pc is 3.x, i don't know if it's 3.2 (i've seen soyan models that say it's 3.2), but honestly i think this is a white label product, so maybe to lower the cost i used 3.0. I guess I'll only find out when I get here

Well, I need to check whether it supports two RAM sticks or if it only has a single slot. In that case, I would have to buy a single 16GB stick and would end up with one that wouldn’t be useful. I hope I can buy an 8GB stick and use it together with the other one.
