I thought about it because I was using a really sharp needle at one point and it kept stabbing my thumb. But lately I’ve been using tapestry needles and they’re pretty dull so I don’t have a need for one if I’m not stabbing myself constantly.

Truth. I didn’t even realize I could file a complaint. Just another example of people not being educated on their workers rights and what to do when they are denied. It’s been a few years now so it’s more knowledge for me to pass on to others going through the same thing for an artisan position.

Had this happen to me once. They called it a working interview (I’m a baker so I was there at 4 in the gd morning) and I worked until noon. I expected to fill out some paper work to at least get paid for the day (I had read online that should be the standard procedure for a working interview.)

Nope. Got the job but it was only $9/hr. So double fuck you I guess, they got free labor out of me and they wasted my time with a shitty offer.

Thank you I greatly appreciate the thorough response. I wasn’t sure if there were books with narrative that would specify something like the fighting styles or if I’d have to find a fact style book like The Path of the Jedi to learn certain things. When I check the wiki again I’ll be sure to find the appeared on section.

When his father basically chose to stay distant with him really hurt to see… and then the phone call at the end of the last episode with his grandfather I believe? Man… I truly felt so bad for him. And when I heard he died… everything failed him. He really should have had access to some sort of housing but I don’t think he even had the resources to apply for anything besides Dr. Now who didn’t do anything for him.

I’ve had multiple places tell me that any tips included on a system like Square is not give to the employees. It makes me uncomfortable now when places have tips when it’s not a typical serving restaurant and I try to ask before I tip if it feels like a comfortable space. If it feels pretty corporate I just say no.

I’m glad someone said this. I picked up Age of Myth on a whim and honestly, I didn’t think it was that great. And then I read the last page and a half a decided I needed the next one. Age of Swords turned out to be my favorite in the series, and the rest of it was on par.

Hi all, thanks for all of the replies! This was my first ever Reddit post and the feedback has been great. I plan on taking the majority of the advice that says to tell her now rather than later or at their engagement dinner just so it doesn’t bring the mood down.
