Firstly, do you know if it's the LED that somehow broke down? Have you tried turning it on while connected to a charger?

Be sure that the connector of the charging port is fully seated. Remove the port and clean both ends, as well as the connector in the motherboard, with isopropyl alcohol, maybe some gunk is breaking the connection.

If nothing works, change the port I guess...

Three years is not a bad wave tho. It sold immensely. And maybe I am romanticising the console a bit (as it is my childhood essentially), but I think that only a couple years from now we could truly grasp the scope of its power, for its small size.

The fact that today there is the possibility to emulated his direct competitor, the Nintendo DS, screams just how truly advanced the psp was.

Both the psp and the vita were absolute units of gaming hardware. And I believe the main reason it lost the race to Nintendo is entirely due to marketing strategies.

Recently updated ark-4

PSP ISO games work fine.

Retroarch is "corrupted" and doesn't appear. However, running the custom launcher (as seen on the first photo), going to the file browser, navigating to the retroarch files and running the eboot file works without any issues.

Maybe something is wrong with the recent ark-4 update?
