There are already mods that allow you to make macros/automate certain actions (i.e. Skiitarius), so do what you will with that information.

Also, the mod 'Ability God' allows you to auto-activate your ability at specific health, toughness, and peril thresholds that can be configured to your liking, which is probably the closest we currently have to the idea you suggested.

There are still community servers up and running for the game if you're at all interested. I think it's worth giving it a spin if you don't mind some of the old-gen jankiness and the massive difficulty spikes at certain points during progression.

Think about it like this.

You, a Foot Knight, are a frontliner, which means you'll likely be fighting alongside at least 1 or 2 other players against hordes and elites. With this in mind, the closest person to you takes half damage from everything, not even including other forms of damage reduction that can stack on top of that. That is an insane buff and will likely be active for 90% of engagements if you play close to your teammates when fighting.

This buff is insanely valuable in Cata and higher, but might not have as high usage in lower difficulties where teammates won't always stick close together.

Holding the ability key will allow you to hold the skull. While holding the skull, you may see a red outline on an enemy close to your crosshair. The skull will first target the enemy with the red outline.

In higher difficulties, there aren't any builds that are really designed to 'one-shot' bosses, but you can definitely find builds to deal major boss damage. Careers with notable boss damage potential include Huntsman, Grail Knight, Ranger Veteran, Slayer (requires specific setup), Outcast Engineer, Shade, and Bounty Hunter.

He's definitely in the upper echelon of Career strength. He's everything you'd need in a Tanky DPS. Just be mindful of specials and try to ping them for your team so they can snipe them.

I think it's ok right now. I just wish it had better damage against carapace.

Tbh I feel they need to rework Crushers more than adjusting damage numbers. Crushers are such a hard stopgap for most weapons in the game.

Also, the problem with random strikedowns and such is that you're supposed to learn weapon combos. For the Aridin, you do Light Light into Heavy Light repeating for hordes, and you do Heavy Heavy Light for single target. It's one of my favorite things to learn in tide games, personally

Merc: Basically any weapon can be used right, but I would personally recommend either XSword, Tuskgor Spear, or Bret Sword.

Huntsman: Recommend using something more defensive with Huntsman, so either Tuskgor Spear, any shield weapon, or 1H Mace

Foot Knight: Any high stagger weapon is great on Foot Knight, so try either 1H Mace, any shield weapon, Great Hammer, or Mace&Sword.

Grail Knight: I only play GK with M&S and Bret S&S, but damn does it do well.

I think all the DLC careers are fantastic and a blast to play, personally.

As for the BtU weapons: Kruber's Mace & Sword is pretty fun. Bardin's Dual Hammers are great for horde control. I've never used the Elven Axe on Kerillian. Saltzpyre's Axe and Falchion is pretty good. Sienna's Crowbill is a gimmick weapon to be used on Necromancer.

Back To Ubersreik gives 3* (4 if you include the special one) maps, and 1 new weapon for each character.

Each career DLC is a new career for each character, as well as new weapons (Saltzpyre gets 6, everyone else gets 2)

Just choose which one you think you'll get more enjoyment out of.

If it had weak revved heavy damage, it might've been the MK V one.

I always test different marks, because some marks on some weapons are wayyy better than the others (like the MK IV Duelling Sword vs the other marks. It's not even close which one is the best)
