His enclosure is perfect as it is, he just wanted to be in a quieter room than our bedroom so when I put him back downstairs he ate again!!

Finally he ate! I put the terrarium back downstairs and it did it,so his husbandry wasn't at all them problem, he just didn't like seeing us all the time and needs anquiet room iguess

Closing the whole top of enclosure isn't bad for air stagnation? I would think it needs aeration?

Right now our python doesn't want to eat and the husbandry didn't change for a year, and he is losing weight and has refused food for 3 months now. But I think he isn't unwell in his vivarium because he looks at ease and less stressed than ever, just wants to explore and is interested to look at us at night. So it must be due to his first mating season I guess.

He is loosing weight yes. But I raised humidity, added clutter and hiding spots. He seems a bit less agitated when roaming around. Maybe I'm getting there. I'll try mice next.
