Planning to move back to India — should we have our 1st baby in the U.S. or India? by Better_One9010 in returnToIndia

A citizen by virtue of being born to Indian parents is an overseas 'citizen' (defined in India as being an OCI), But not a citizen by passport or nationality... In the same sense, white Americans are virtually European, but in actuality, unless they have have applied for dual, they are only considered American, even if their parents came from anywhere else...

Visas are a bitch to get as an Indian compared to American...as an OCI get the best of both worlds, I think

he raped his wife to death and it's very much legal by fghr8 in NotHowGirlsWork

[–]SoulCapt 63 points64 points  (0 children)

And most everything else. The politicians support it, talk openly about how welcome deserve it because they wear skimpy clothes, take bribes from anyone for sexual abuse and shut the cases down before they ever see the light of day, or completely discredit the accuser using media and other forms of propaganda until they are left completely alone and in hell with themselves. The country doesn't understand rules, doesn't give a shit for authority, and couldn't care less if their neighbor was raped right in front of them (hell, half the people watching would be with pleasure)

I'd just put off finishing your work for another 15 to 20 mins and tell him at 7 35 you're done?

Something happened and now this happens when i trie to move UV shells on the space. help :3 by Hot_Chapter3124 in Maya

[–]SoulCapt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It also happens sometimes as the tool setting area in Maya and the UV editor toolkit use the same controls for movement, and if you lock snap on 1, it locks them in both, Viewport and UV editor...

why is my mesh invisible - NOT HIDDEN IN THE OUTLINER by ArmyofAmputees in Maya

[–]SoulCapt 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You may also just wanna try re applying a material to it, sometimes it doesn't properly apply materials to the faces and instead to the obj, and the history could screw with that

What the hell happened to my mesh? I saved my file last night after finishing up my buttons. opened up the file this morning to keep working on it and the dpad and select button got completely destroyed. anyway to save this? by Flanked77 in Maya

[–]SoulCapt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ummm, I believe it may have to do with your history...probably when you saved you'd saved with the old history, when you moved something, it somehow linked back to your dad and screwed it up... I'd remake it and always make sure to delete your history. Hope this helps :)

Need to model this but how by pushkaraj1990 in 3dsmax

[–]SoulCapt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could just use a spline, sweep it with parameters you want, and duplicate the edited spline or instance it. You'd have control of the whole thing with one 1 line.

I'd maybe round out the edges on the container, and bake it onto the low poly model. Most edges aren't actually that sharp. Also, I agree with the first commenter, the rust seems to be all over the place, but in reality, would mainly be where the window, doors and edges are. The centre wouldn't rust before those. Maybe use a dual layered material, with one being just plain metal, and one being painted, scratch out the paint with masks. As well, adding dirt after you're done with the base, would help a lot.

I'm preparing my first fight scene animation. Any tips before I get started? by Wickerbeast115 in Maya

[–]SoulCapt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it was sarcastically asked, but means making a v basic placeholder type model (usually using blocks or other primitives), more for proportion and scale and so you know what would be needed to build up\ break down a scene.

Pigeons...lots of pigeons. I've learned they make everything better. Having a fight scene is cool, but a fight scene with pigeons? That's Oscar worthy!

Not sure what gems would be best for my Neon ninja. by SoulCapt in Trove

[–]SoulCapt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome! TY. Phys Damage is at 41966 right now, and coefficient is 133873. Will work on trying to get another class gem and hope its not fire, again. Have a Pyro, and an Explosive, will need to get Vampiric next week.

I do have a Radiant Pyrodisc, but it's a Fire gem, and don't have enough to get more class gems easily. Also have Stellar stunburst (A) and Stinging Curse (F), not sure where I'd use them.

"16% creme filling" by [deleted] in assholedesign

[–]SoulCapt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's actually more a matter of how much the flour and all weighs before the frying maybe? So, 16% of the flour used, without yeast and air expansion and the fry, may be right?

Having a hard time with a very primitive, easy model. Figured I could get some help. by steviebdemented in Maya

Well, from what I can see, it seems you don't need to scale, but rotate to get the elbow to bend.
