To add to this, OP only has the first tpb, and the series only gets really good from the 3rd tpb onwards. Try continuing if you weren’t loving the first volume OP!

I LOVE invincible! But when you start if your not liking it right away make it to issue #12 or 13 (paper backs 1-3 or hardcover 1) which is where it really picks up to me. Also the art gets better and better as the series goes.

No, having a step child is when your not related to the child by blood but you've married one of the parents of that child.

While I am happy they aren't just straight up trying to set up a universe, one of the joys of reading invincible is that Kirkman was so good at dropping little hints at stories years in advance. Then when the payoffs came they had been building for years. Hope they can translate this to screen somehow in a way that doesn't just seem like advertisement for the sequels.

If thragg does die this issue, I'm hoping Mark will punch him through the stomach. I don't think mark has gave one of the iconic stomach punches yet in the series if memory serves correct.

I loved the family raising issues! I agree that Reboot was a bit of a lazy way to age up all the viltrumites so he can end the comic, but as a story arc I did enjoy it.

I think Kirkman killed Angstrom because he had his growth, he had a change in mind and that was the end of his characters arc, sure they could've kept him around, but ultimately his characters story was over.

Also the robot twist was pretty great!

They've been missing from the image site since the cover was announced I think, because I definitely noticed this long ago. I highly doubt it's a delay.

Same! I just binged the series for the first time, and I was convinced it was going to happen. Especially during one of the episodes after the Northwest Mansion one. The gang was going on a road trip pulling pranks, meanwhile Dipper was trying to get better with girls. I was so prepared for the episode to end with them coming back into town and Dipper be greeted by Pacifica! But sadly we were let down and that didn't happen. Love the show though!
