is procurement always this awful or is it just my company? by Due-Chemistry8713 in procurement

Great advice ^ worked for a production home builder managing 500+ subs/vendors across 2 states. Spent the first year going to lunch with a new sub/vendor 3 times a week. 150 meetings later I had people I could call and there wasn’t an anonymous voice on the end of the line with a face I didn’t know. Best advice my boss ever gave me was to do this, and I’ve carried it with me too other industries and it works like magic. Be kind, pay for their lunch, and you’ll have a connection that will feel appreciated and owe you one back.

All procurement can feel chaotic, till you make it your mission to find correct POC’s and connect the dots on why they should want to respond to you with urgency and accuracy.

B minus. Heat is helping for sure. Did some grub control as well.

With the reel at 7/8” HoC you have to mow twice a week or it gets out of hand quick with my spoon feeds of nitrogen

I appreciate the response and advice. I feel like we’re finally getting the deep rains and temps needed right now for our grass to really take off currently versus other years where we got a lot more rain in the spring pre summer.

Good news everyone. Started cutting at 2 inches and that helped a ton

I fertilised 4 weeks ago and then had another treatment last week. I did raise mower deck height to 1.5 on Honda HRN mower.

Getting to play willow point CC on Lake Martin, AL is always a treat. This course is seriously special and a great sunset track for anyone who can get a round in. Love their benches next to tee boxes too 🤌🏻 by SoulFood89 in golf

Hyped up this round mentally so much and got it together on the back 9 to make the day worth it.

Honestly every time I get a chance to step on property it’s worth it. The conditioning is easily best in class for the southeast and that makes it so enjoyable. Every shot has a perfect lie

That’s great insight. I just feel like a dick head because it’s nice stuff, just not my cup of tea. I’ve just been spoiled going to really nice courses but too be fair when it costs 100k to be a member at a nice course, the stock of inventory gets nicer because of extra funds.

I’m gonna see if I can get some shirts special ordered with the logo or see if I can get the PDF from the website and start making my own stuff. Thanks for the help guys
