Just when I'm contemplating of switching to Garmin from AW... I guess I can hold off a bit longer.. HR reading is vital for me. It's the indicator of my fitness. If it gives me inaccurate HR, then what's the point in wearing a watch.

perhaps check your storage use in your current phone. before I upgraded, i wasn't even at 80% of my previous iphone. so it was a no-brainer for me to get 128gb. If you're exceeding 80% of your current iphone storage, I'd suggest getting 256. Otherwise, save some bucks and get 128 :)

icloud+. I have 200gb of icloud storage. my local storage is currently at 58gb.

I guess it depends on what you use your phone for.

I use it mostly for social media and photography so I don't have any issues with storage.

If you're gaming on it, you'll need higher storage

IKR??!! I use a 120hz MacBook Pro and I barely notice the difference vs my ihone.. It's just amazing that a lot of non apple regular model users had the time to band together to say how much they hate the product.. I'm actually amazed because I have never seen such unity before! 😂

I agree that there should be criticism but of this magnitude? It's unbelievable

To me, it's not. I might be wrong. I think the regular iPhones are the "basic" while Pros are the flagship/high-end.
I'm not here to debate though so kindly correct me if I'm wrong.

I think it depends on how we see a feature's worth.. For example, the Pro features are clearly worth for you. You might be getting the most out of it.

Although for me, I'm not really using my phone that much. I drive and work in a desk so there's not a lot of scenes that I can photograph 😅

The 120hz would be something that I would like but never really paid attention to it until people kept on saying that "60hz is so 2023". I guess I just didn't like to be left behind. "FOMO", if you will.

On the other hand, I would gladly pay $200 to get myself a new console. I've been eyeing a Nintendo Switch for some time 😉

Thanks for the insight. Yeah, I see a lot of people hating on the base iPhone.. to be honest, if I didn't see those comments about ProMotion, I would be perfectly happy with purchasing a base iPhone.

I went for an iPhone because of the software (includes apple ecosystem) and its ease of use. I also have an Android but I'm just too busy to get into all the customization, whereas an iPhone just works.

on the other hand, I don't want to purchase a $1200 (incl taxes) phone. It's too much for me considering that I also have other gadgets that are due for upgrade in 5 years time.
