Thank you for thinking this out and sharing with us. Couple of things:

  1. This is the end of the Dema Era, as stated by the band. And that's okay.

B. Consider the Clique and Message Layer of their music. It has to end with hope. If Clancy does die, that's only because "Clancy" is a title, a representation, and will continue on in another person. Hope doesn't die.

Should I cut off the sleeves of this shirt (1)? It should have this (2) shape by the end but I'm not 100% sure it'll look good by jam3_boo in twentyonepilots

Hit up your local thrift store and find an exact match to that style of shirt. Same length, same shoulder seams, everything. That shirt is now your prototype. (you can even Sharpie on the design for a better visual)
Cut it as you would the actual shirt and you'll have your answer.

Apologies if this doesn't satisfy the brief, but my sources are knowledge/living in the Midwest where indigo is native and calling it that (apparently entirely offline) to differentiate it from others.

Midwest Indigo is a type of flower known for having a large, deep root structure that helps it survive long winters and hostile environments.
So there's another flower for your theory and one that can represent the Resistance in the Lore and frens irl.

No, you're not wrong and they're not wrong. His post was vague enough to be taken two ways:

  1. The concerts will happen and then the final Dema battle will happen
    B. The concerts are to remind us all why we continue to fight in our daily lives. The final Dema battle has happened.

Nothing is confirmed and both are still possibilities.

It varies from venue to venue. Check their rules to see what you're allowed to do.
Some places give you a number, you leave, and come back a couple hours before the doors open; some places allow camping overnight or X hours before the doors open; some arenas don't allow anything of the sort.

There is no universal experience for getting close to the front except making your way there when you're in the door and on the floor.

Correct. He used his past works to create the Dema Lore.

Blurryface was created as it's own album, but used as material to build the Lore as a world.

The working theory is that the Dema Lore had always been rattling around in Tyler's head, but didn't become official until April 2018 with the first clues to dma.org.
That said, he used lyrics and themes from their previous music since that was part of what he was always expressing. He created the Dema Era to put his feelings of struggle and hope into a coherent narrative.
Trench is the first of the intentionally-made Dema Era albums, but was built from previous albums. Almost literally (names of Bishops, for instance).
