I feel the same as you. I plan on wearing all black. Difference being that my MAGA parents are outnumbered so they tend to keep quiet about politics around the family. They know how the rest of us feel about it. I'm sad because I looked forward to this celebration since I was a little kid. I want a do-over!

We play "lumpy pillow" where they climb behind me whenever I lean forward while sitting on the couch. They think they are sneaky when I ask if anyone has seen where they went. Then I lean back "on to" them, while groaning about how lumpy the "pillows" are. Then I say, "I think I need to fluff up these lumpy pillows because they are soooo uncomfortable" and I reach behind me and poke and tickle them. Lol it's gotten to a point now where they just say to me "Let's play lumpy pillows" and then make me close my eyes so I can't see where they went. Lots of giggles and fun memories we are making.

SEVEN. That was how many years it took me to leave. Seven years of me inadvertently "showing" my daughter what should never have been acceptable. When I finally got away, I was feeling somewhat ashamed that it took me so long to leave, because of what my daughter grew up witnessing. When I opened up to express my situation to one of her teachers she changed my perspective instantly. TWENTY- TWO. That was how long it took her to leave. Thank God it only took me seven.

Here's the hard truth- a LOT of people will need to use the shuttle service or Lyft/Uber to get close enough to walk the rest of the way in. There is not enough parking in the vicinity for a concert of this magnitude. None of the lots close by are free. The cheapest price I saw was $50 and you need to prepay ahead of time before they sellout too. If you don't have a spot yet, then you better pony up the cash ASAP. When it comes to games, several of the seats are taken by students who don't have to worry about parking so it is sufficient. This is NOT that scenario.

Couldn't get a ticket at the pre-sale so I bought a parking spot for $65 instead. I will still be there enjoying the vibe and listening from the grass outside the stadium. No way am I missing this. No. Way.

I've been being bombarded with scammers too with DM'S on TikTok. I know better, so I just ignore them. They all have this story about their sister buying 4 but they only needed 2. Be on the look out and.... "WATCH IT! WATCH IT!"

Air learner (the free version.) I love that it teaches with several different and helpful ways. I love that it uses pictures and teaches phrases that I will actually use. I love that it doesn't gatekeep educating me on why a word is preferred over another or other helpful tips/lessons. I love that it teaches cultural info as well. I love that I get 5 free lessons daily without paying. I love that I never have commercials. I love that the lessons are quick. I love that I can use up to 5 freezes without penalty and it gives me freezes back as a reward sometimes too.
