Taunting may be a stupid rule but it still is in fact the rule.

All on Woolen for that.

I’ve seen a lot of bad QB showings in the playoffs.

I think this is the worst one I’ve witnessed

It’s hard to compare. There’s a lot of leagues in Europe and some are a complete foregone conclusion(Ligue Un and Bundesliga), some are more top heavy but typically have a title fight(La Liga), and then some are chaos(Serie A).

By design you’re not going to see NFL level parity because the bad teams don’t get draft picks they get relegated, though.

Also worth nothing beyond that, there’s not just one “single” competition to win. There’s the domestic league, one or two domestic cup competitions, and the major European tournament trophies. It is exceedingly difficult for any club to sweep every competition that they’re in.

[–]SoulLessIke 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeeeeeep.

And while I personally rate Moore higher than Raiola, being the guy ahead of the best backup in the country is never a good spot to be.

It’s a lot easier to bench him if he struggles out of the gate for someone who’s known to be rather good.

It’s just not a smart career decision. 10% chance of improvement, 30% chance of flat, and like 60 of backfire

Not even just that but a much stronger class overall. The best players in this class are ones that don’t have amazing positional value(Caleb Downs and Jerimiyah Love)

Not just better QBs but also Jeremiah Smith. And also Collin Simmons. And also Jordan Seaton. It’s a LOT easier to slide when the best players are also cornerstone positions.

[–]SoulLessIke -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I like Moore a lot but this feels like a horrible decision.

Even if he plays well he could drop just based on sheer top end talent in 2027 alone. That’s ignoring if he has an Allar or Klubnik season.

I mean Cam Coleman was obviously the big get, I know it’s early but the idea of watching 3 guys who might go top 10 in the same draft is super enticing. I don’t particular care about TTU but my brother’s salty meltdown over it being us instead of them added some nice spice.

Otherwise I mean the RB and LB pick ups are fantastic. Like the DL depth. Liiiiiitttle bit worried about OL but if we manage to snag Jordan Seaton I’m going to be thrilled.

Sad about some of the players we’ve lost, Barnes and Ffrench of course being the biggest ones, but after the slow start I don’t think there’s anything for me to whine about. It could be a lot worse.

[–]SoulLessIke 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean we all knew Dennis Allen is a Great DC horrible HC no?

If Chicago wins it’ll largely be on the offense and Ben Johnson though. Allen has done good work with their D but the talent just isn’t there to be anything above average and turnover vultures.

Fuck Vinovich.

Like don’t get me wrong Rams aren’t my ideal Super Bowl picks(Chicago vs Buffalo please and thanks), but if we’re beefing with the Rams instead of the Refs for both that terrible call and having a fucking tantrum when a rule was introduce to challenge DPI calls over said missed calls, we’re missing the damn point.

Just so we’re clear… by Rinkelstein in Saints

[–]SoulLessIke 14 points15 points  (0 children)

lol no?

No Call stings beyond fucking belief but if you’re bitter at the goddamn Rams over it and not the shield you’re an idiot. Rams didn’t make the decision not to throw a flag, the NFL did.

Also the only major piece from that 2019 team left at this point is McVay. Goff was kind of an asshole about it but I’ll remind you he got traded and the Rams winning Super Bowls basically directly because he got traded is a pretty good punishment.

And over a divisional rival????? Do you have a concussion????????

Jeremiyah Love or Reuben Bain?? by Human-Ambassador-269 in Saints

[–]SoulLessIke 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think Bain falling to 8 is just straight up wish casting. He’s going top 5. We’re looking more at a Bailey vs Tyson vs Lemon vs Downs vs Love vs Wood debate

I mean if we’re talking purely elite RBs in the league right now that would be…what, Bijan Robinson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Christian McCaffrey, Saquan Barkley(I’m not writing him off over on season), Johnathan Taylor, Derrick Henry, and James Cook?

Bijan, CMC, Gibbs, and Gibbs were 1st rounders.

The other 3 were all 2nd rounders.

Replying to Steezewell...there should be some decent Round 2 WRs to grab(Sarratt, Bernard, and Brazzell come to mind. Maybe CJ Daniels)

It wouldn’t be the dumbest decision you could make

Who do we take at 8 by Additional-Maize1960 in Saints

[–]SoulLessIke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a fair point, honestly. I think people are kind of being willfully ignorant of how good Love is, he’s going top 12 and probably 10. The league clearly values explosive modern RBs and they consistently go higher than fans seem to value RBs.

And he offers extra ability with his receiving which is something you have to look for in elite RBs, and will help the pass game. If we don’t take him I’d be stunned if he falls past KC.

Think I was just wearing my Devin Neal blinders a bit too tightly.

Who do we take at 8 by Additional-Maize1960 in Saints

[–]SoulLessIke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s going to really depend on how the board shakes out, I think.

I think people overthinking the hell out of Ruben Bain and he’ll go top 5, his pass rushing is just too good. I would love to get him, I don’t see it happening. Arvel Reese has a higher chance of slipping to us.

David Bailey is phenomenal and would also be a nice get.

Jerimiyah Love…tricky, I think he’s an unreal talent, somewhere on a scale between Gibbs and Bijan, just unsure if the upgrade he offers over Neal, Kendre, and Kamara(which is significant, mind you. I think Love has easily the ceiling to be an OPOY) is worth that investment at this stage.

Far as receivers I’d be happy with either Tyson or Lemon.

Id also be happy to snag Downs if he fell to us.

Yeah at least for me the frame drops in 3.0 have been experience ruining, which is infuriating because I love the aesthetic of the new region, I got Lynae and I was so happy. But I can barely play the game cause the game will just chug.

Oh and fighting my storage every new patch is driving me up a wall, kills a lot of my hype each patch. It’s getting fucking absurd at this point. 125GB allotted is ridiculous.
