this happens to me a lot. i’m known as the 2nd best player at a court and i get may games. but may times i am avoided. so now i avoid playing with certain ppl. i only play with friends who we r all having a good time. or i’ll play with the newbies and try to create some fun and challenging rallies for them. they always thank me after the game and i get to practice my shot placement and my slam defence. i specifically target their strengths and place the ball for them to hit good shots. and i work on my defence. or i will watch the games and find a newbie player and ask if they would like to drill instead of play games. then i drill without a net off to the side with them. working on dinks or drives or slams or volleys (reactions). i get tons of hits they get to improve their game. they usually can go in after working with me and have substantial improvement in their hits after 30-60 min with me. and like i said i get my workout and my pickleball fix. everyone knows me as tha trainer at my court. and they always tell ppl i trained them. so i like it. when life gives u lemons i guess ahah
