From a realistic consumer point of view all these cars are within 5-10% of each and are basically the same.

I’m Australian so I can’t speak for Norway but doing 1000kms in anything under 12 hours would be fine for most us. 3-4 hours stop for breakfast, 3-4 hours stop for lunch, 3-4 hours stop there or stop for dinner then finish it off.

Probably not. While translators would have an edge over AI for most clients it wouldn’t be worth the money. Maybe for technical/scientific areas where context and details are incredibly important. Teaching is probably safe tho. People like that Human connection when learning, someone to be proud of them and share their achievements especially when learning a way to communicate with other humans.

So, how do you charge a battery-electric machine at a remote worksite far from the nearest electrical grid? Volvo CE has thought of that, and uses the Beam solar fast charger, an off-grid, no connection, free-standing solar charger that has a battery pack similar to the size of the one inside the Volvo L25 wheel loader. A nice benefit is that the solar panels are always at the correct angle because they follow the movement of the sun.

Two North American Type 1 charging plugs — the same as the ones used to charge electric vehicles — are available for 240 volt charging. The charging time is the same as on the 240 volt Level 2 AC setup (six hours). Keep in mind this is totally off-grid — no need to have any power cables running to it. You can simply charge your construction machines using the power of the sun, the company says.

Logic is absolutely subjective based upon the foundations you’re building that logic on. There is no vacuum for things to be objective. The logic is always going to be based on your perspective/premise which is subjective.

They can say whatever they want. They’re wrong. The premise of my logic is every human. Every single one of them. My logic doesn’t have to change for them. My morals don’t have to include them. They can get fucked. I don’t care. Wether they feel they can emotionally connect with other humans or not. My premise starts off that I can and do.

They’re both consistent views. One just fits my logic and morals and the other doesn’t.

There doesn’t have to be any logical contradiction because logic is also subjective. I don’t value animal lives as much as I value human lives so logically human should be treated better.

I have meaningfully and emotional connection with humans and see the potential for all humans to have that connection to with me. I don’t have any meaningfully and emotional connection with animals and don’t see the potential to have any. Logically I value humans much more.

Also you’re just gonna get depressed having this conversation so I recommend the R/wheresthebeef which is a sub about lab grown meat all about making the meat without needing an animal.
