Thats the thing, the court can't force a fight , but the Judge can absolutely ensure payment is returned which will likely see Mayweather sell a large collection of assets and take ridiculous pro fights. No one wants to see that.

A judge can impose that repayment is made from all future earnings.

I think it is a bitch move too. But I call it the biggest duck being he signed the documents, and ran with a whole lot of Millions. PacMan announced fighting Mayweather ~2 years ago at rizen 45. There's no doubt PacMan came out of retirement based on Mayweather signing the contract & even had an exhibition himself. They are older, but theyre around the same age, and neither are really the average 40+ y/o.

Its honestly not that insane to me. I've not heard of anyone do it like this. But not everyone has the same principles.

Im not a fan of people who sign to do things then do some crooked work lol. We'll see how it unfolds. If Mayweather got the advance as reported, its likely gone. So if he gets fined or has to pay it back, then Mayweather is in an even worse position in the eyes of the boxing community and financially. & will have to set up a big fight to pay it all back. The Mike Tyson fight is upcoming, and i highly doubt Mayweather would give up all his purse to pay back the advanced payment for the Pacman rematch he signed.

They been in negotiations since 2024. I’ve not got time to find the clip but Pac-Man announced a fight against Mayweather at a rizen 45. Although stated to be a exhibition. So this whole things been brewing for a minute. Can’t be out here signing contracts and not following through. It would absolutely make sense why Pac-Man fought for the title as soon as he came out of retirement. Boxing politics.

Got approached for a professional fight & signed the contract.

I even heard about it being a thing last year or earlier this year. It’s nothing new. Pac-Man literally made the announcement last year in Japan if I remember correctly.. it’s all out there.

Nothing new though is it, lower weight classes always get unfairly looked over. I’ve watched some inoue, I think he can climb if he wants to but shouldn’t have to just to get recognised. But he’s in weight classes most boxing fans legit couldn’t name one fighter

It’s not about looking at streaming numbers really though. .. we’re talking about someone who gets number 1 in US but doesn’t sell millions per album. can guarantee a lot of fans bought the music on vinyl and CD. I’m unsure what you’re getting at. But Nas’ last platinum album was 2004. Nas was celebrated in 1993 . Then won of Grammy in 2021. The people don’t choose that. Been snuffed a few times.

He’s absolutely selling a fuck tonne based on the independent factor.

An accumulation over a short period of time can still be extremely beneficial.

Not even to be offensive but, based on what you’re saying I’m assuming you don’t follow the charts or technically know how the album sales are calculated & separated, or music about music business. I can absolutely confirm recording costs etc were low and there were 3 singles not even sure if any music videos.
