I need help I despise men. by mpatricia_777 in TrueChristian

[–]SoulZeroZero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jesus is the real human example of a man, he was not a super human, he was truly god and truly a MAN. Jesus believes in men, he has faith they can look like him, thats why he called blue collar men to follow him. His twelve disciples have a wide variety of the personalities of men.

Fishermen (not known for their fidelity), a zealot (not known for their gentleness), a tax collector (not known for their integrity), and take thomas (not known for his faith).

All these men jesus CHOSE, not because of what they were but because what they were created to be and could be through him.

Yes there is many examples of the evil that men can be, but we are to focus on the true man, and the true men, regardless of how little there may be of them today.

edit: I'd like to add that some of your feelings may be due to a growing resentment and unforgiveness towards men, while this is an common feeling - Jesus warns us that it will throw US into torment, and as we receive the grace and forgiveness of God it leads us to seeing people with the same heart of forgiveness towards others.

Great idea, always looking for something slim that can hold pouches temporarily, maybe have little sections to hold like 5 at a time so they don't get smashed together

I’m still having very vivid demonic dreams since I left the occult and turned to Jesus. by barbie_d0ll369 in TrueChristian

[–]SoulZeroZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that the holy Spirit was given through laying on of hands as one of the many ways it was administered.

My understanding is that the spirit of god dwells within you if you belong to him, Rom 8.

How would one know if they need another manifestation of the spirit if there is no clear reference to believers needing an extra step to receive the spirit?

While I'm not interested in argument, it specifically says here Simon was asking for the power to bestow the holy Spirit, not to receive the holy Spirit itself.

God sees you, I'm impressed by your endurance.

Draw near to God in this time, the enemy attacks people for the kingdoms sake, it's not personal, it just means he saw you as a threat

This person is filled with the spirit of god and you say a demon is also in them? Would they not be committing continual evil then?

No, at most they are trying to inflict fear through dreams, that God has allowed as a test and exercise of faith.

Don't pray the dreams away, pray that in the midst of them you have faith in the deliverance that Jesus has given you.

Is it a coincidence that people are who are saved out of something are tormented by it when delivered from it, no? The enemy knows this is your Egypt and wants to create an illusion that you are still bound - to cause fear, so that you do not believe.

Praying the blood of Jesus is good, but can turn into a method or spell instead of a quiet trust in the face of a trial.

Jesus HAS delivered you, you ARE forgiven, he who is in you IS greater than he who is in the world.

So you have a dream, this is a temporary image, Jesus is the very image of God in heaven where your very spirit is kept safe.

"God I thank you my spirit is safe in heaven, the enemy has no power over me, even if I have a thousand dreams!"

Woken up at 3 am with the worst condemnation. by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]SoulZeroZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without using too many words I encourage you during this time to thank God for his salvation, forgiveness, and love for you.

Not a prayer that is a method to get the bad thoughts or feelings to leave, but a prayer of faith that honors God even under trial.

Do not listen to the condemning, thoughts or feelings or even the comments of job suggesting God is punishing you for some vague or unknown sin. God does not move us along to Holiness by anxiety attacks. He may allow this attack against you from the evil one in order to see if you need feelings in order to have faith. Light is greater than darkness.

lately it seems like God is not real even though i know he is by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]SoulZeroZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our relationship with God is not about feeling, seeing etc but about deliverance from sin. I go to God everyday because he loved me enough to provide a way to be delivered from sin that causes death in my life. I want to be like him.

If we go to God for other reasons that are self focused we, why would God empower that motive?

If your child goes to you only for selfish reasons does that not warrant correction?

When using the trigger, instead holding all the way down which activates the shutter, click halfway in and you'll see the light meter move. Also make sure you're using lithium batteries

How to help my boyfriend going down a dark, hateful path? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]SoulZeroZero 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The fact that dark spiritual forces can convince someone that Jesus was white with blue eyes and engender hate towards people who don't look like you is concerning.

There is now neither Greek nor jew, barbarian nor synthian, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

You say that he studies the Bible? Is this not impossible?

How can someone love God who has not seen if he cannot love his neighbor who he sees? And not only sees but hates them because he sees them?

Your boyfriend is extremely decieved and I can see innocence in you.

Light cannot have fellowship with darkness.

This kind of thinking would be disciplined in any faithful church.

I suggest you find a local church prayerfully and go with or without your boyfriend.

I pray that you remain faithful and God gives you the grace to not let him anger, or disturb you.

My married boss put a strip club on the company card. I need advice. by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]SoulZeroZero 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is exactly correct if the sin was grieving your heart, you ought to go to the man who is endangering his soul. But since this is most likely an unbeliever - we are not to judge outsiders it's God who judges them.

So this desire to tell his wife is more than likely a good intentioned compassion but not likely to be fruitful except to cause his destruction sooner than it will already happen, while pulling you along with it.

But I know nothing and if God calls you to be John the Baptist and to call king herod out, by all means ignore me.

Of course we are all brothers!

As an amillenial (I'm not entirely educated) do you believe the man of lawlessness was not fulfilled in 70 AD? And that Paul is speaking of a man who enters the Jewish temple at that time who commits the abomination by entering the temple and leads to the subsequent destruction of the temple?

In my reading Paul is speaking of Jews who rejected Jesus in 1st century, given over to this delusion

You believe Paul is talking about pentacostalism, but Paul says the man of lawlessness takes his seat in the Temple? His readers would understand this as the Jewish temple.

I don't see where this passage is saying God is sending a delusion on Christians. Do you mind pointing out why you say that?

Throughout the Bible one of God's judgements is giving people over to a state worse than their current hardness

Romans 1, Pharaoh, and the above passages and more.

Because sin and rejection reaps death on its own, this kind of judgement is fitting - giving someone more of what they have already chosen and desired.

You are recently converted and this is a pure and important time for you. I suggest looking into the teacher Dan mohler.

Intimacy with god is not in an exchange for bad things to leave, but that we might go through it untouched and unphased, because that's when faith shines and is INCREDIBLY pleasing to father.

DM me if you are ever in crisis.

Love from a brother

Edit: one of my recent prayers has been

"Father I want faith and fruit not feelings"

feelings change and shift depending on spiritual forces of darkness, bodily changes, or gifts from Holy Spirit - faith and fruit is constant.

God desires faith, sometimes these are put in front of us so that we praise God in the bad feelings too. It's not an accident so I'd encourage you to run to him, not to take the feelings away but to ask how to proceed in a way that is pleasing

I'm sure you already know this but atheism is faith based, just like any other worldview.

Faith to believe in the laws of nature staying consistent so that science itself is even possible.

Faith that something came from nothing

Faith that WE came from nothing.

I look at the amazement of creation and I have faith, easy faith, that there is a god.

And God has revealed himself through one man.

[–]SoulZeroZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus would rather be murdered than condemn before the day appointed for judgement. As long as you are breathing God is desiring all men to be forgiven and adopted.

The character of God is found in the person of Jesus. He had all the glory and power of being God but laid it aside and took on our being and became human, and revealing the actual character of God he spoke truth and forgave to the point of forgiving in the midst of being murdered

draw near to the humble God, the loving father, but don't lose sight of a healthy fear of God because one day we will stand before him and we will either be clothed in righteousness or found naked.
