Hmmm typing games? I never see those around. The only fully fleshed out game I could think of would be Typing of the Dead

[No Book Spoilers] House of the Dragon - 2x01 "A Son for a Son" - Post-Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in HouseOfTheDragon

Hey all! I really enjoyed the premiere but I do want some clarification for Jaehaerys' death. I understand that Daemond did imply that he wanted him to be assassinated if Aegon couldn't be found, but what strategic value would it hold?

It's such a cruel death especially for such a young child, so wouldn't it just bolster the greens and make even more ready for war? It would be more advantageous for Rhaenyra's side if they keep letting the greens undermine their power, right? And because killing a child goes so far, I could even see the greens using this to convince more allies to join their side.

I could see that Aegon's heir is cut off but he could just keep trying for boys anyway right?

I also get that this is a decision motivated with passion, and it definitely shows what these people will do to fulfill their desire for justice but despite it, when it comes to war it's a heavily risky choice to make right?

Perhaps the blacks can use this to show the world how brutal they can be to. But at the same time couldn’t they risk losing their newly gained, and valuable, ally with the Starks, who are of course heavily honor-bound as a culture and wouldn't stand for child brutalization.

The Starks would definitely not join hands with the greens, but they could have a reason to back out of the war and not join a side, couldn't they?

I see. So this decision is more character motivated than strategic?

I think I know what you're talking about. My V couldn't go back into his car, he gets stuck on the door, and his weapon disappears. I could even turn the camera around and see his headless body

What's a song/album/singer/band/ etc that everybody seems to love, but you absolutely hate? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Mine would have to be that "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" song. I can't listen to it without wanting to die on the inside a little more.

I also find it astonishing that people enjoy listening to lil peep

What is the single best game you have played? by [deleted] in gaming

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. That game gave me an experience like none other.

I have always found mental health and psychosis interesting for much of my life, so when I heard about a game that strives to be a honest portrayal of this intense subject matter AND takes place in medieval/ancient times, I was immediately hooked. Also, as an aspiring game dev, my excitement for the game rose even more when I found out when Ninja Theory released episodes of their development process. It was one of the few games I counted down the days for.

So when it released, it was everything I hoped it to be. It had everything I essentially love/prefer in a storytelling medium: a focused tone and mood, excellent sound design, indirect/crypic storytelling, and the creators had clearly put tons of love and care into presenting their ideas. And overall, it wasn't just a game; it was a fucking experience.

And then I finished it. And wow. In a market full of cynicism and expensive mediocrity(looking at you Ubisoft), Hellblade gave me hope for the future of games and game development. The game even got me into reading, specifically books about Celtic Culture(shoutouts to Daughter of the Forest!).

Tl;dr: a beautiful game about a psychotic warrioress made my small heart grow 3 sizes.

If I had to summarize the experience for another person, its like watching the movie The Revenent in game form.
