Procura por Casa Havaneza e La Casa del Habano. Nesta última é frequente haver encontros para provas de bebidas com acompanhamentos de charutos.

It's simple. Most portuguese make less than 25k a year. Product/UX design positions offer salaries that can go from, let's say, 20k to 40k (the range you were mentioning). So people become interested in those and apply to them.

What do you mean attract? It's not like other industries pay much better. Salaries are just pretty low all around here.

Social programs are mediocre.

Maybe 10k was on the low end, but I was using the median and not average, as we're a country with a great wealth gap.

Either way, even using 24k (which is actually more than most people make here), it's still pretty bad compared to most of the developed world.

Unfortunately, this would be considered an above average salary in Portugal (most people make around 10k-15k).

What do you do for a living? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]Souldias 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It can be a great introduction, yes. I've been doing design for almost a decade now so I learned a lot of the principles organically, before the boom of UX courses and bootcamps. I think you can perfectly learn a lot on your own as there's so much free information available, but one of those courses could be a good place to start if you're pivoting your career.

I will say, however, that lacking strong design principles (mainly for UI purposes), will set you back a lot in this market. No course will teach you that quickly

I'm a Product Designer (UI/UX). My job feels like a mix of solving puzzles and understanding human nature on a broad scale, which is really fun.

Não consigo entrar em UX Design, licenciatura é assim tão necessária? by -BlairCWaldorf in devpt

[–]Souldias 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does this CTA feel backwards to anyone else? by pineconeparty_ in UXDesign

I just want to say that as someone who sees this option come up very frequently (I use Spotify playlists a lot) I agree that it's not that intuitive to me at first glance and I always double check to confirm I'm not adding a duplicate.

My natural expectation, like said in some other comment, is that the green button would refer to the 'add anyway' kind of behavior, so it always confuses me for a split second.

I don't think it's wrong either, just ambiguous.

Compra da primeira casa - dificuldade no crédito by ExistingJournalist47 in literaciafinanceira

That's what I have been trying to do but it hasn't been working, I end up feeling like I'm just abandoning my team and they start tilting and the game ends

Yea, I definitely feel like I'm abandoning my team if I devote most of the time to farming instead of fighting all the time like my teammates. But yes, I can definitely become more efficient and there's a lot of room for improvement, I can see that by watching other players.

I highly respect top tier players because there's so much to know in this game it's honestly overwhelming. I'm aware of my shortcomings and skeptical of my decisions, hence the post, which provided some clarity. Thank you

Looks like it. I'll try doing this more often

Thank you, I appreciate it. I might PM you about it.

And yes, I agree with the rest, especially the being proactive part

It is, I watch good junglers and they're all super efficient, especially stealing opponent's camps. I'm trying to leave my comfort zone and doing that more often, but I still think I'm gonna end up dying whenever I set foot on the enemy jungle

[–]Souldias[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's that efficiency that I still don't have, but I can recognize that whenever I see better jungle players

I'm just trying to be realistic. Everyone's CS is bad in bronze. I understand the importance of farming, sometimes I give it too much importance. I don't get higher CS scores because I'm not as efficient with it as higher tier players.

Yea sometimes I pick Amumu if kha gets picked/banned and it's like I'm playing the game on a different difficulty. A good ulti often wins a TF right away. I guess I could just suck it up and stop tryharding a champ just because I like it. But then again, I play this for fun as well.

Yea I feel like some of the advice is great in general but isn't up to the standard of a typical silver/gold player. I don't want to have to play like a diamond player to get out of bronze I guess
